Social Club & RGL suck

Hey all, I'd like to vent off a little about Rockstar Social Club and Rockstar Games Launcher.  

 

Pretty, much they are wasted potential and both could be done better and improved than they are in state right now. 

 

Social club acts like the Social part of the RGL, pretty much like Steam has the store and social part where you have your profile, chat, posting pictures, etc. Only problem is that Rs does it worse. News feed is a mess and unorganized, this is pretty much the reason why every social media out there has less content show at once and more scrolling, it looks better. Same goes for user profiles, they are messy, and profiles in general are bare bones, you can select few covers, user avatar, and write a bio and that's it. Why can't you showcase some sort of badge or achievement, even crappy Uplay is able to do that and Ubisoft sucks.  I also hate the messaging in the SC, it's cappy and slow, you'd expect they would use some sort of chat by now that would be a faster solution especially in game. The most positive thing I have to say about the SC are the game stats, they are amazing, it feels like all their effort went in the game stats, but I'm sure that average user would care more about profile customization and whole experience and not just how a status page looks like. 

 

And now RGL, obviously, it also sucks. It's even more bare boned than the social part, you open the launcher and there are your games and there is also the store when you can buy games, and... that's it. Like I understand someone maybe likes the simplicity and having a launcher that uses one purpose but this is still waay too bare boned imo. Why don't they add some elements to SC to the launcher to make it in a way packed with content, like maybe messaging, check your crew, check your profile and other stuff so you wouldn't need the browser open to  check the SC. I totally support they Rs for decided to having their own launcher ( If Ubisoft can do it so can they ) but they gotta do add more content eventually, the launcher kinda feels unnecessary right now to me at least since I have all my Rs games on Steam and I don't see a reason to buy any game from their launcher since It's not better in any way, ugh. 

 

The conclusion is, I hope that Rs will eventually upgrade in a way both SC and RGL to be better experience overall, I mean they games are top notch for me and to very high amount of people, so why couldn't their store and '' social '' aspect be too? I guess this is something unnecessary to a lot of people, but it's just something I had to write somewhere to vent off I guess.

I for one am getting sick of all the launchers I have to install just to play a game. Steam, Epic, Uplay, Origin, battle.net, and now RGL. Seriously, the launcher adds no value. If I want to browse the store or buy your games I'll just use a browser!
