Rockstar Games on Nintendo Switch

After LA Noire to Switch, are we going to see GTA or any other rockstar games on Ninty Switch.

Sadly probably not, which is a shame, if Rockstar Games had a proper Legacy Support studio then they easily could've done modern ports for games like GTA IV, Midnight Club LA, Table Tennis, etc, on Switch, PS4 and Xbox One, hell if they had a proper Legacy Support studio then they could've easily done a 3D era GTA Trilogy and put out GTA3/VC and SA as one game. Such a major missed opportunity by them this generation, we still don't even have a Pro/X patch for GTAV.

rockstar doesn't seem to care about their older games anymore. no android port for VCS, no IV remastered, no RDR1 pc port..... all these games that fans have begged rockstar to port, and they don't do sh*t.

I'd like to say Chinatown wars could work on the switch with a bit of reworking to make it suitable for it but that's likely being a far fetched dream more than a reality.

Be glad to receive a GTA Online themed DLC with the theme being one of those games, because nowadays that's the most you will get from Rockstar when it comes to their legacy games.

There were multiple talks about RDR2 on the Switch, I highly doubt anything will come from it but at least we know there was some planning of doing so.

Not trying to discredit your comment, but Rockstar has 8 PS2 Classics games on the PS4 and I'm personally alright with older games not having remasters/remakes since they'd lose their charm IMO

We're missing LCS and VCS on PS4. I want them so bad. They were rated by the ESRB back in like 2017 but then I think R* cancelled it.

Well, Amazon France listed yesterday an unannounced game from Take Two for Nintendo Switch, and I have seen that Take Two appears as the seller of GTA V and RDR2 in Amazon, so if the listing is true, we could dream, because the hardware is not a problem, the size I think is not a problem because i think they are going to start selling games with 64 GB cartdriges this year, so GTA V is a posibility, I think RDR2 is less possible, because is a very gorgeous game that the original PS4 and Xbox One run it suffering, and they have made magic with games like Doom, the next Doom Eternal that they said it would be fantastic, Wolfenstein II, The Witcher 3 and more games on Switch, but RDR2, that´s something different, but GTA V surely it could come because it existed a Wii U prototype that was discarded and the Switch is so more powerful than the Wii U and very very more powerful than PS3/Xbox 360. The problem I think is that GTA V life cycle is ending, the game would sell insane that´s for sure, to play GTA V on the bus or the underground it would be a madness, but I don´t know if Rockstar/Take Two think that a new version of the game that is finishing it´s life time cycle, it´s a good idea. Time will say.

True, was also disappointed not to find MC3: DUB Edition Remix, it's my favourite one of the series
