Davve95 330
I was loosing my SSD from its bay and it was pretty much stuck so I moved it abit hard but still pretty careful. Then when I was connecting it back up again. I get the error message BOOTMGR is missing. I don't know if I missed ESD armband sometime... But I have read that it would not be so likely. I don't know what to do. Because it didn't show up at bios either and I also tested it in my old pc but still the same issue. I was connecting a brand new SSD aswell but I couldn't see it in Windows aswell so I hope I didn't ruin that too.... D*mn.. Atleast I didn't install it the same time as the old one. AZAZEL 3,058
It's quite difficult to physically damage an SSD, as it as no moving parts. So it either has to be moisture of some sort, or somehow directly damaging the circuit board or one of the plugs. Otherwise it's more likely to be software (BIOS/Windows) related.
