The size and the distance from the main map seems about right if you ask me

Every body has a different bag besides them, the first I found had a metal briefcase, this one has a leather one.

This one has a different briefcase, so those are not necessarely an indicator of something in particular, also this corpse seems (?) burned or its lacking proper light effects.

imo the perfect place for it, we'd have a chance for a ferry as well, assuming its and island that is based on the Catalina Island, and not for example on the Epstein's Island or something. One point that argues with it, is (iirc) Pyros post where he mentoned that FPS drops in the city already so putting on the side of the map might be a better option. Still hoping for this:

 

PS: I do hope that cut Benny's Surfer Custom is coming. Would be perfect.

Have they taken the helicopter out of the casino heist? Just did one there and the heli did not spawn.

Pretty sure a new weapon is something that would have to be added through an update rather than tunables. Most likely, the body is just meant to have a symbolic purpose, e.g.; to make you think about where it washed ashore from.

I agree. Since the body is just reused from the treasure hunt and not unique, I think the real focus is on the briefcase and where they both came from.
