Yep, i guess. This from newswiere: "we’ll reward the entire community at large with a special new vehicle, free of charge for a limited time this December." - you have the word "new vehicle" and "December" which reinforces the idea that will only happen in December, which is when we are getting the dlc.

Also: "All participants who partake in this week’s Heist challenge will receive an additional bonus – a special badge of honor for their efforts." This i have some doubts...idk if the Badge is somethign that will come Thursday...but i think we don't know what this is all about, like what? A pin that you can use in your clothes? Or just those kind of "steam rewards" like a seal?

Probably...but now are you still believe that the vehicle is a old one or you joined me in this theory? One thing is almost certain, for an herculean task like this challenge, they will not give us a normal vehicle, it will be a meme vehicle, i'm almost certain of it.

We’ve got a lot of optimists here, and I really admire that. Let’s not forget the full range of possibilities coming with this update though:

 

-The new location isn’t new at all. It’s a new room/expansion to the casino. 
 

-The new location is just a new building somewhere in Los Santos. 
 

-There is a new area added to the existing map, and thus, it would have to be a small addition or make the game unplayable for the current gen  

 

-There is indeed a new map, but it’s exclusive to the heist, and this whole update is actually an advertisement for next-gen Online. 
 

-There is a new map and no catch to it.

(Prolly more related to me thinking the mountain image might even be included tho hehe)

Anyway yea, honestly this would make a lot of sense considering we got the RC tank from the same game last year, as well as the existence of the smaller drones.

They wouldn't even put this challenge if they weren't sure it's achievable. They won't tell us that community didn't completed it, so boo no vehicle for you. With that being said, a lot of players are playing heists across all platforms either way every week, so it's business as usual and challenge was probably met by now, maybe even completed during the weekend. I expect and i might be wrong, that they will show us the picture of the reward vehicle with the info of new update like they did with LSSS update, then two weeks from now update trailer and week later update release.

Before I said it would be one of the I/E special vehicles or a regular retro car

But since they said in December and not next week, Its safe to assume its gonna be a brand new vehicle like you said.

That also means theres a good chance we gonna get some news tomorrow. At least maybe a picture of that new vehicle.

A part of me wants to see an old police car like from L.A. Noire. Not too far fetched I guess,
