about release dates I speculate:
1st December - RDO dlc (30rd november is the last day on the Halloween pass)
8rd or 15rd December - GTAO dlc (after 4 weeks with construction progress on thursdays).

I guess not! Cuz the current weekly event is bigger, 2 weeks, through November 23rd.

Definitely. I find it to be the best of both worlds between IV and V. It struck the perfect balance of fun gameplay, atmosphere, story and things to do. One of my favorite gtas.

What if this dlc is ass and it’s just a remodeled place of something thats in the current map I mean it won’t be the first time we’re disappointed and we are just overhyping it

Nah, if this is the last big update of current gen, I want them to hit us like a truck and release everything Day One.

 

Won't feel as big if they're dripfeeding us cars all the way to late April.

The guys wearing amour and helmets that need to be taken out (because else you cannot continue without being detected) are kind of fixed in terms of their position, their position never changes.

same with the two people in the lounge area of the vault. I've found shooting them and luring that 1 roaming guy to the back and killing him makes sneaking into the vault itself about as easy as it gets, but I can never coordinate a melee takedown like that without one of us getting seen

 

it may save time in terms of preps, but it'd also make my finales much longer waiting for cameras and teammates to be on the same page, since I can recover from somebody not shooting fast enough, but I can't really get to the second guard to melee in time

No. Most likely a prep room you HAVE to buy in order to start the heists.

Hmm I don't know about the first guy because I never exit that way.

I suppose with lounge area near the vault, you mean that couch group with glass table right next to the elevator.

The trick is really that only one of the players does melee both, also the path of running is really important to avoid running into their cone of vision.

That and running in 1st person kind of helps that one of the guys only sees you while the other is being taken down already so he cannot react, spamming R helps to melee the other guy right after.

It can help to do patrol routes to get the path right the first time, how ever, if you run very close to the left corner right into the space between both guards, you should be fine.

 

At the beginning, I found Silent and Sneaky really hard, because I assumed i could not do certain things without being detected, for example killing by shooting through glass, or I thought running would be to noisy.

But often speed is the key to a successful melee attack, sure, if a guard is about to be dead one second later it doesnt matter if he had seen or heard you before for a second...

After witnessing several DCH attempts gone wrong thanks to randoms, I have since convinced myself a good heist tutorial bundled with the new heist may just be evolutionary for half the community.

idk about all that. You would think if they did that, it would be connected, or a continuation of the penthouse. Over in the useless office, or the conference room. Then again you would think that would be more subterranean. I feel like it's just going to be an asset/front for some sort of business that allows us to travel. being just a snippet of the DLC throwing us off, while they make us think it's an important location.

To be fair, if new players or those who do not really know to do would just sit back a bit and copy what players do who know what to do (thats what I did months ago), playing with randoms would not be a problem.

Also, communication is a huge problem, at least 50 % never write back.

But then... Being part of a heist with randoms who completely fail can be very entertaining as well....

That and I feel like the "evolution of heist play" is just going to be a revamp of all the heists. Giving us the ability to potentially single player some stuff like setups, and play doubles on the old hiests. Maybe adding a short storyline. Their use of Evolution just makes me think we're getting a remix, not a brand new thing.

how do you know it won't be that? they could add an option in the penthouse elevator to go to said prep room, as an alternative entrance.  

 

also I highly doubt r* would make the penthouse a prerequisite for the new heist, since it's what, five million GTA$ for a basic penthouse?

They gave most of the penthouses away for free. Also I said, "idk about all that." That doesn't mean I'm closing the possibility.. lol..... I'm just basing my predictions from my experience with 5 years of DLC's. Having them point in one direction, causing everyone to fantasy image bigger things than they actually build, and in reality, that direction they pointed so vaguely. Turns out it wasn't as grand as everyone imagined. They tend to keep it more simple than what we hope. If we're going to some new location. I'm sure it's something newly built into the map, or slightly opened up from what was once closed. Like the Casino revamp, or the Stadium opening.
