I would settle for the ability to have the mechanic be able to deliver the bikes we have, and for us to be able to customise them with different colours and accessories.

 

Maybe some proper bike attire too, like the NPCs you sometimes come across at the side of the road. I want to be a MAMIL* dammit

Idk if R* will add a new place just for fun times...they will make something about paywalls...Why opening a new space in the casino just for fun, when they already had interiors like a café and a nightclub since day one, but never opened them? (tequi-al-la, bahamas).

I still don't get the concept of the people who defend the thesis of "a underground planning room for heist is the new construction that is taking place in the casino". What do you people mean? A planning room for what? Steal Duggan again? If he's the owner of the casino (at least what we know so far, bcz, next dlc, the story could have changed and the casino have new owner(s) due the fact that irl someone who got their casino robbed more than 2 times would be f*cked). But if the casino is still his, means that he is the one ordering new constructions in the casino...so...would he thought: "hum...why i don't make an underground heist planning room that somehow i will give to the protagonists of the gta online in order to be robbed again in a brand new way? It will be fun". That doesn't make any sense. Not to mention that you would making strange activity inside the casino, like transporting heist stuff to make the robbery, how the casino security wouldn't noticed that? It simply doesn't make any sense from the start with the (and if) casino still belongs to Duggan.

R* knows everything you do in game. Which means you automatically get qualified if you did one heist at least.

Having done this myself, it would make a lot of the newer cars much more competitive, better handling and feel more like cars. The way they do flags, when I remove them it's like night and day. it's like they purposefully add them to ruin a car.

Are you certain about this? Because the way the game has been advertised, when it releases to the PS5, my understanding is it's only free for the first three months, and then you would have to pay for it. Isn't this somewhat common, offering people a trial time period of use, like for HBO Max, Amazon Prime, and then you have to pay for it when the trial ends? This also brings up a sneaking fear I have regarding GTAO for the PS5. I have been concerned that "Free for the first 3 months!" means that the game may end up being a paid subscription service once the three months are over. I hope not, and of course, I hope you're right. But who knows with games these days, to be honest.

I could definitely see them adding at least an empty billboard (for now) by the airport, if it'll even play a role in the heist.

People are already making rumours that the dlc's will start to be paid. That this is maybe the last free dlc and the dlc's of next gen, if they include map expansions, you need pay for it.

A map expansion with a paywall would split the community, I dont think they would do that. .

It might, but it's not exactly unprecedented to charge for DLC. Even way back in 2008, Criteria charged a nominal fee for their DLC for Burnout Paradise, and THQ had DLC packs for all the SR games. I bring up Paradise because the commonality is that they introduced a new island in the final DLC for the game. I think the key term will hopefully be DLC with a "nominal charge", if that's the route they go with GTAO PS5. I personally have no objection to DLC packs sold as Premium content, as long as the prices are fair and reasonable. I have never purchased a shark card or IAP for GTAO, but an actual DLC where you get a good value for your money is fine by me. Also, I think that had they created SP DLC, "continuing the adventures of..." the protagonists, people would have paid for that. Its possible that the only reason actual DLC for GTAO would turn people off is because we are all so accustomed to thinking of DLC as the freemium thuggery we have seen with Shark Card sales.

I think the bigges dilemma of them is: do we would get backlash if we went EA, Ubisoft, route? We have a solid income with micro-transactions via shark cards...wouldn't be better if we do not touch that ground? Bcz they know it would split the community. So i say that they will mantain the same strategy.

I will bet that the casino isn't the main focus of the next dlc, but the history of Duggan will have the ending chapter. It felt inconclusive with casino heists dlc. Agatha don't call you...Duggan don't appear...lester and georgina relationship seems unfinished, like...she kissed him, and then what? They are together now, happily ever after?

Again we will see her heavily pregnant or a little baby Crest.

I honestly don't get how people are so carefree with paying for their shark cards...it's such a bad deal...100$ for 8M GTA$?! Lmao...that doesn't pay one dlc content in this todays economy. Not to mention that seems not right to sell a shark card that costs more than the game itself.

Yeah, I somehow highly doubt they would ever release paid DLC for GTAO. Like you said, their income is solid, hell, even amazing, so there's not really a need for that?...Or is there?

 

Still, I think we're sooner gonna see another form of MTX or something like the Criminal Enterprise Starter Pack, rather than a fully paid DLC. I could also be veeeery wrong with this statement, but I hope I'm not. Purely for the sake of my wallet

 

EDIT: or or or, maybe if vehicles get even more expensive, they could release vehicle bundles of some sorts? I mean probably a stupid idea but...it's still revenue.
