It's nice that we get teases on the forum alongside what's in-game. Gives us more to speculate on. 

 

If it's actually a map expansion coming, I hope we can travel there in freemode. Though if we need to go through a loading screen, I wouldn't really mind.

Well it's not something we have in the game, thats why i said what i said in my original post. I want a gamemode where all players are on the perimeter of the center circle which in the center of that would contain melee weapons, low damage weapons and snacks. Weapons could also be found around the map and every 5 minutes or so waves of mysterious things will happen. Such as the toxic smoke seen in the movie, blackouts, a player receives beast. You know all that Jazz.

 

I don't see why you're getting aggravated by my suggestion let alone ramble on about stuff that shows ignorance. "How is Hunger Games any different from Pubg or Fortnite?" Well if you watched the movie and played those game's you could answer your own question. Yes they both indeed represent the concept of a Battle royal but are set out completely different. Hunger games starts of differently and gives the player the choice to risk the center play or run off and explore empty handed, also waves of unexpected events will take place. Im not going to ramble on about every detail that separates them, because at the end of the day it's just a suggestion.

I too suspected for a while that an oil platform or some other offshore structure could be an option. It wouldn't be all that difficult to add-in, also it wouldn't require all the time and work to build up a whole new island without stirring up a universe of new bugs. 

 

If we get that though, would the community really accept that it qualifies as the promised 'biggest ever update'?

When I think of these two lines the first things that came to my mind are two songs. In the Air Tonight and I Believe I Can Fly. Indeed they can serve to hint these things.

You know, with the RDO Halloween Pass being extended to the very end of November... and the 1st of December being a Tuesday... what does everyone reckon the chances one of the RDO Online leads said; "Screw it, this update's coming out December 1st, let's just keep the Halloween Pass going for an extra 2 weeks for the hell of it/given how this year's gone?"

 

I ask that because... come next Thursday (the 19th), you'd think we'd get to see the vehicle from Heists 4 they're offering for The Heist Challenge (should we (I fail to see how we can't) hit the $100b) as well as the "badge of honour", kinda like how we got to see our bonuses for logging in during The Guest List pre-launch marketing for After Hours. Because once they reveal content from Heists 4, how long can they hold off full-on revealing it, while getting the RDO update out the door. Bear in mind an Event Week is usually dog-leg extended to release on a Tuesday.

Today I finally got around to completing the Casino Heist that I set up when the update first came out, and I plan to do more (and unlock the rest of the vehicle discounts). The Zhaba run sure will be fun...

In all seriousness, it was such a missed opportunity they couldn't let us walk around the hotel suite area and such of the Casino once the Heist update finally released (totally understandable if it wasn't completed in July) to let us "scope out" those areas in freeroam, so we wouldn't be going into those areas blind, you know? But also the fact that going from the Casino floor to the staff lobby has a load screen, and that weird thing it does in the mantrap, even if it is for mission script reasons, when we can fully explore the Aggressive interior in the Advesary modes, even the Cashier cage with all the doors unlocked.

 

Unless they're planning to rectify that with this "evolution" of Heists... that'd be f*ckin' awesome.

you mean the minimap disappering for a short moment?
that is bc the heist is technically split into multible "missions".

like before you enter the casino,inside the casino, going near vault (which causes that flickering)

and then the exit outside iirc

was done that way so the different approaches work

If the new heist has a stealth approach or elements they should add missions where we use a drone or a remote-controlled car with camera for reconnaissance and i think it would give a nice vibe provided it was done right because the drone in the final of the casino robbery is just very average in my opinion

2 casino Heist full set as host,2.5M and 2.8 M ,ignoring the payment to the npcs. Plan to go 2 more times this week.

1 time act 2, 3 times casino heist from 1.5M to 2.8M as guest.
