well personally i never seen them in gtao, and their ymap also uses the spawned-by-script-only flag. but i didnt see the ymap name used in the scripts so i doubt it was ever enabled

Have you read the post that he was quoting? I literally said the same thing. That would only work if they gave us another filler dlc before the big one.

On the other hand that wouldn't make much sense since people would find that billboard in the game files right away. So if they were to give us some early hints it would probably be something less obvious.

Nope, we never saw these posters when the Casino update dropped.

 

I can see why they didn't enabled them though, it's the same boring poster everywhere near the Casino, would look too much on the nose.

If we end up getting a new island with mansions to buy but not any of the great mansions on Rockford Hills are for sale I think a lot of people will be upset.

Yeah I always keep my expectations low since After Hours, but you know, there are some amazing houses on the hills that would be worth purchasing and I think it's nonsensical that we can't yet.

My best guess is they both do that manic breakdancing thing benches and various other GTA street furniture does sometimes when you smash into them.

I assume if you strapped me to a cat you would get a similar outcome to the old gen gate launch glitches.

Interesting enough, Rockstar added two leftover scripts with this update, one is called "freemode_creator" and the other is called "basic_creator". Both are nullified, the same as the mission creator script. I wonder if those were planned for what was initially the theme of the summer update, or those new random encounters were made with these new creator tools. Except the new encounters are currently handled by the new scripts, unless it's sorta like the encounters were made via such tools and translated into scripts, which is plausible.

 

Regardless, I wonder if those tools would be utilized for the next update, maybe to provide a selection of half-instanced jobs that are playable in free roam. I'm thinking heist preps that function like contact missions, but playable in freemode, yet exposed to any alteration at any time since you load them in via a server-side file. It sounds cool, but kinda feel you have to be far away from the new place for the content to be loaded in successfully, which won't be possible if Rockstar wants to introduce new properties there.

I would really love if you could put a Dome shape auditorium and inside there can be glass shelving where you can put any car into the Auditorium and they will just basically go into one of the glass shelving and when a car isn’t being selected you can see every single car just on the shelving sitting there and then when you do want to view a car the viewer should be able to press a button that will bring up a select list with all the owned cars whichever one they choose it will bring down that car to a closer shelf. I want to be able to customize my cars and show them off and the limit of cars should be Infinite
just an ideal

And these scripts will allow R* to add/ adjust those set things without players having to download an update? Similar to the weekly tunables?

 I wish there were a way for them to make all contact missions playable in freemode. I enjoyed playing them but those lobbies and loading screens kill me.

Gang attacks is the best example, they technically function much like contact missions, but playable in free roam. When all the map icons disappear, you are placed in the loading phase and transitioned to an instanced environment, it would take a few minutes for the enemies to load in, due to the game processing the server-side file.

Rockstar can alter them without the need of a client update, and you would still go through the same loading phase.

Does the business battle involving the aircraft carrier run through similar scripts?

maybe our "new location/s" are only accessible through setups and heist. Similar to the aircraft carrier when the time limit is up or it is complete all players on and around the aircraft carrier are put in a black screen to spawn back at shore.

I'm more upset over the lack of interior customization.

The only real feature making your interior different from others is your choice of lighting..

From what i remember we only have 3 different base designs for the nightclub, 2 of them make the place look uncompleted and looks similar to underneath a concrete highway. The other design is decent but is owned by probably 90% of players who own a nightclub. 

 

(This new location better have hectic nightclubs, i expect to be drugged by Cardi B in this new locations resort and nightclub. Drugs and narcotics dlc? MDMA?)

I got crazy idea.

 

What if R* bring back horses for winter DLC? It would be cool, especially if they do a Santa Catalina parody, because of narrow streets and no-car roads on IRL island.
