How about that time when they tried to block SP mods? There was a huge backlash and they quickly changed their mind.

And baiting people like that would be a terrible PR move and their PR department knows it... Theres no way its gonna be just yet another building and thats it.  Literally everyone is expecting a map expansion of some kind.

And they market rly well. They ALWAYS use the right words and they know exactly what they should and shouldn't say.

But I do agree with one thing, you should never be hopeful when it comes to gtao. Doesn't mean we can't speculate about what would make the most sense from a business point of view.

Yeah, I'm sometimes too soon and get "out of stock" messages on the vehicle sites. You got the other discounts right at Legendary and Warstock though.

It will probably take several days. I got the Six Figure Tee after several days and it just showed up in my inventory with no notification. Should be the same for the Green Dot Tech Mask.

there won’t be a map expansion. It’ll be the same game we currently have with 4K and 60fps capability on consoles, combined with increased ped and traffic density. Most of the new cars from Online will be added to SP and to MP traffic, and there’ll maybe be a handful of new sidemissions in SP. That’s it. Expecting anything more is setting yourself up for disappointment.

Good strategy.....this past week i boosted My second character...My crate lady with vip work up to level 82 and i filled 2 medium warehouses and unlocked the black ceo statue...then i Will torture myself with My Main to fill My 5 large Warehouses and closing to 5k source missions, then i maybe could retire partially from crates

Don't you be dissing Double Money on Store Hold-Ups, with the game being rife with global signals and Oppressor Mk2's to destroy hours of playtime in mere seconds, the week that happened was like time travelling back to 2013, throw an Armoured Kuruma from 2015 into the mix and it was like playing the cut version of the Fleeca Job where you had to rob 5 of them in one run instead of just one.

No. Next gen GTAO is not free. It's free for the first 3 months on Playstation if you have PS Plus. Then you have to buy it.

 

It is not a free upgrade, it's going to be a new game just like the jump from Ps3 to Ps4.

x2 convenience store robberies is one of the best things they could do. 

 

As long as you download it within the first 3 months it’s available then you get to keep it for free forever. Most people will download it within the first 3 months so they don’t have to spend that extra 65 bux.

Every GTA map is an Island, so we can be cast away to any 

 

/sarcasm the way I see it, the image of Wilson, which is a nod to the movie "Cast Away", with the shadowing of a city skyline, resembles a theory for our characters being 'cast away' to another city.... I'm not saying the skyline resembles Liberty City, but...

Speaking of, did anyone got the drinking fortune from Madam Nazar since the last dlc dropped? 

@Fun 2 mentioned they added some extra code to that, something related to payote plants but I still haven't heard anything about it. And I still wan't able to get it. Maybe its locked for now? Or maybe I'm just unlucky.

There won't be a map expansion...

 

Adding a single interior/replacing a single building and some cars is a bit different from adding an entire square bloody mile of new map, come on mate.

Except there won’t be a story mode for next gen.  Just the standalone online version.

Nah, ofc it all depends on the size of that new map but I'm sure they put waaaay more effort into Casino+Arena War (multiple maps with different sets of props) then they would need to put into a small island (let say it would be the size of paleto bay). After all you could make most of that island by recycling existing assets and that would save a lot of time. Houses, beaches, palm trees, piers and other props are already in the game.

But you couldn't do that with the dlcs I just mentioned. The only things they recycled in Arena War were props from canceled SP DLCs (just couple post-apo buildings and alien structures and thats it). But take all the "landmass" of all of those maps in arena war (8-12? can't remember), put them together and you have something thats way bigger then a new island. Add to that all the effort that they put into those two casino dlcs and you have a small town perfect for a heist. 

If we had to "measure the effort" needed for something like that I would say it would be a little bit more then what they put into the biggest dlc so far.

edit:
Also don't forget that the new heist will be most likely inspired by the casino heist. So they will reuse a lot of existing code and animations from that as well.
