Can you, though? Lord knows you can’t win any races unless you have 3.5 million dollar supercar or hypercar, or some other overpriced class-breaking vehicle. PvP doean’t really exist beyond spamming super expensive rockets or flying an expensive flying motorcycle. In-game businesses cost boat loads of money, and pretty much none of the alternatives pay much, let alone consistently. Contact missions are ultimately the only way for new players to grind and I swear they’ve lowered the payouts.

I’ve been around since the beginning so I have the luxury of rolling around in cash. But new players? They’re starting off in a broken economy where all of the cards are stacked against them. Freemode moneymaking is a death sentence and anything else is inefficient.

Anyone who grinds contact missions doesn't deserve nice things.

They should be kept exclusively for people smart enough to look at how long they take versus 3-5 minutes for Headhunter and 10 tops for Sightseer in a Buzzard or similar.

All I did for the first 12 months was grind those and race. GTA is just like real life, the more you work and how smart you work, the more successful you will be.

Now my nightclub is way over 700 million so far alone, not to mention dozens of large cargo warehouses on double and all the heists etc.

Making money in this game is so easy if your IQ is greater than your age.

The best way to grind contact missions and mc jobs, at least my opinion is:

1. Get a friend.

2. You start CEO ---» do Headhunter.
3. Do MC now. Make your friend Enforcer. Make him start the Enforcer mission of destroying things. Go to the airport for that. Make at least 2.1/2.2M $ of damage (with jets, heli and titan is easy). The President makes just a little bit more than the Enforcer in order to win.
4. Disband MC.
5. Now it's the turn of your friend doing CEO ---» Headhunter. Then MC. The only difference is now that the roles are changed.
6. You do this and you will not have to deal with coldown time.

Tip: Use Opressor and refill it after complete the MC job for the next round of CEO and MC.

Profit: 41k from CEO job + 70'sK (winner of MC job) / 54k (2nd place). You will do like 85-111k in less than 10 minutes. Me and my friends the last time we did this we made like 8M in that week.

Lmao, do you really think that having a good car will make the deal? Sometimes it will, but usually, doing races with randoms will always get a cheater in the race that you only see the dust. A friend of mine in the first day of gta online competed against a guy that in the starting line pass him with a speed of 200 km/h (well...idk how many miles is that). The problem with PVP is that R* forgot that they have TDM's since 2013 and never updated them, like: you just have the basic weapons, which normally aren't any good that in many adv modes you are forced to use them, or just in normal TDM's althought you can use personal weapons, you just don't see people going there, bcz, the free mode offers a lot more like: you can ram people with cars, you have more freedom and not be restrain to a small portion of the map, you don't have to deal with the invite lobbies that often gets stuck with someone "joining" but never does, etc. I personally don't like that much pvp in free mode, bcz police is just a pain in the ass...you kill a person in the top of mount chilliad and police will know it was you, then you not only are pvp-ing but also pve-ing. xD Then the caos is installed in the session, you will see people joining the party with armoured vehicles and soon enough there will come a hacker exploding the entire looby, freezing you or trapping you inside a cage.

This morning a friend went to Online and he told me that after 2 minutes he was already inside a cage. Which means this game is f*cking broken and R* either don't care or can't to much about it, when i heard that there's some dudes that pay heavy for a very professional modded account that can even ban people like they were R* themselves. And this was all avoidable if we had dedicated servers, i can understand from the bussiness perspective when you can save the most amount of money to make the most long range of profit, even more when not even R* only dream how popular would turn to be GTAO. Everyone thought that they would learn the lesson and make dedicated servers in RDO but seems it's not the case. And at least i hope they can waste some pennies out of their billions and make GTA 6 Online with dedicated servers. In fact, GTAO is the only game that i experience those "server splits" and i use wi fi but in any other game that i played that happened.

To sum it up: Cheaters and Servers are the Achilles heels of Rockstar.

I’m not sure if you’re aware of this, but it’s not 2013 anymore. Take a Bullet into a supercar race and tell me how that goes. Sports cars are outcompeting old supers by a landslide. The dead TDMs wouldn’t be a problem if freemode combat didn’t suck ass, but until the game dies it will be nothing more than rocket spam, sniper bobbing and Mk.II griefing.

And prepare yourself for crazier stuff. I still believe we will see some kind of Iron-Man suit - Jetpack MK II or something like: "SecuroServ have the honour to present you the Opressor MK III, a new frontier in warfare, forget the bikes, we present you a thing that any hipster could only had wet dreams with it until now: the Opressor Exosqueleton battle suit, available in the Warstock Carry and Cash".

Not gonna lie, that sounds like a hell of a lotta fun to use in missions and stuff, just like the Mk2 Oppressor, but yeah that's where the fun ends. For obvious reasons that everyone is aware of lmao

Unfortunately we can't have everything we won't. Pick the tedious grind as the "real virtual job" that you can get in order to make money in order to buy the cars you want to make what you like most in the game. I also know people that are so casual players that the only thing that interest them is having enough many to buy bullets to make a killing spree against the copss.

Fortunately for me I have everything I want in this game the way I wanted it 😉

i don´t know if that has something to do with GTAO, but R* added qabeta2 and a launch parametr for Max Payne 3

maybe Max Payne 3 will finally get the launcher on steam?

Seems like. France here and with some friends we are unable to connect online. All we have is differents messages (too much time to connect, servers unavailable, internet problem, return to GTA V, etc.)

I did yesterday. I had a pop up show above the minimap that looked similar to the one that tells us a friend on our list completed all the under the bridges from story mode but it said R* has gifted me some clothes. :)

But he has a point though, Contact Missions are seriously outdated as a money making activity now in 2020 due to how low the pay for the time AND resources required for you to spend on them, the costs of ammo and explosives adds up considerably.

This is considering that the player is new and doesn't know the better strats...If it's a old player starting over then they might have a problem to reach their first two millions, but once they get their OP Mk2 with homing missiles it's a breeze since they already know what to buy, what to avoid, and how to counter griefers.

New players though, they get slaughtered on a daily basis.

Really hope next week's bonuses will be Special Cargo (I mean, the chances are pretty high, right?)

About to hit 2.1k sources finally and ready to unload some crates.

I never asked how you figure the relation between VIP Work, MC Contracts this week & CEO Crates next week? Is it a "keep the players busy with minor profits so they won't be ready for the major profit" kinda logic?

Go check your wardrobe. People are getting it by a R* social club message saying that "R* gave you some presents".

Yeah, there is no way VIP work doesn't win this contest.

The relation is made by Rockstar:

- more VIP work this week = special cargo x2 next week

- more MC work/challenges this week = MC sales x2 next week

I think it's pretty neat but MC doesn't even include clubhouse contracts, so no way are we getting the latter.

I got it but I played all missions a 2nd time. (Actually didn't know there was a t-shirt for it; just thought they are fun.)

It was nice for Rockstar to update the list of vehicles for Simeon's dock-deliveries, as well as increase the payout for them... I actually made a reference to that on one of my streams before the update, but anyway, don't you think it'd be nice for us to see a whole new set of wheels on the streets of San Andreas, commandeered by NPCs, to give the game a bit more life?

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1oKp-MLCNwuIUP1dYQKIFzHTkp5TbBDuftrmntKUqidA/edit?usp=sharing

There's a spreadsheet of 60 new vehicles that could be added to traffic - 26 from the SASSS website, 25 from the Legendary Motorsport website and 9 motorcycles / quad bikes that I thought would be "fitting" for the San Andreas scenery.
Of course, some vehicles would be better off spawning in the affluent areas of Los Santos, whereas others should only spawn in the scummy or dirt areas.
