I’d be shocked if it was just a new building. That doesn’t scream biggest update ever at all. I think an island based on Santa Catalina is actually likely at this point. It makes the most sense.

 

Of course he can buy a mansion in LA and we still can’t smh

Anyone noticed a harder time trying to sell bunker solo?, I tried like 15 times in the course of the day and i was only getting 3 Marshall or 3 merryweather insurgents, after a while like in attempt 20 i got 3 insurgents with 1 delivery each, Also the cellphone freezer thing seems to be patched everytime i tried the timer was running normal

It's much harder to get the Phantom Wedge mission now. Most of the time it will spawn with two now and the only way to sell it solo would be if you had the chumash bunker. The other businesses you can sell solo no problem (for MC businesses just sell locally, if you get the post op van sell mission just close the app unless you get lucky spawns or have a 2nd person).

The phantom wedge it's indeed much harder than spawn...mc business i only touch that when double...thanks for the feedback ...i have chumash bunker Best imo...

TBH all of the businesses are only really worth it if it's double money, except for the nightclub and Vehicle Cargo. It's good to have all the businesses though, because the nightclub generates supplies from every business except vehicle cargo and it reduces the time you have to wait.

It's already enough to see one of their old broken online games move over, certainly not paying to continue on the farce that is RDRO. 2 years and still a glorified beta, what a joke and not worth a dime.

Considering the fact that the game is being re released again on next gen consoles, I believe they would hold that map expansion off as a exclusive next gen content and then give a bullsh*t to new players saying that current gen consoles can't handle it.

 

Also this whole "biggest update ever" shtick is, quite blatantly to me, just PR talk to get the new players hyped for the new update and the old players be ready to have the last update update on consoles, because you can bet that they are using it as a excuse.

I'm optimistic, I think we might get mansions and a couple of completed buildings to complete the city for those left on current gen in 2021. No map expansion or island. There is no solid evidence we all just grabbing straws. Imo

saint catalina island is a small island and not much you could add to it. 

only reason i think they are adding is the heist and it will be easy to do the map so might aswell have it free roam. 

there is no long term to this map for expansions other then the heist. 

lc am very confident will be the first  dlc for the new gen and pc for some reasons . 

 

obvious reason the only reason to divide online from sp is map expansions saint catalina can be done on this gen so why not but thats pushing it . lc is hd and they worked on it before but for obvious reasons . think they have saving this for next gen the assets are there is a case of having the storage to handle it which next gen does. 

and the whole reason sony is paying to have online free for ps5 players for three months is to get people to buy a ps5 not everyone will buy a system day one a map expansion like lc is the dlc that would convince people to buy a ps5 for the sole reason or a main reason for the new online . 

it aint about getting the free money yes about 12 to 14 million is big money but not huge in gta online why will that buy you about  three to four cars and a property and thats it thats is low incentive . 

 

yes they will add gta 6 map down the line but thats years away if gta 6 is even in development not likely but not be shocked if it was scrapped to focus on online with an lc map expansion . 

and final point there was a reason they stopped that open iv project rockstar do not care less about sp mods which that was but lc project would have given competition to lc on the new online so thats the reason . 

 

same thing happened with rdr 1 on pc mod would have competed with rdr 2 pc

Basically, a few existing lines were updated with new incidents that happen some time (24 to 48 mins) after you receive said line.

"vengeful figure from your past" puts a bounty on you, "shadowy figures" sends mercenaries after you, "a man with evil intentions" sends a mugger to steal your cash, "great and furious judgement descending from the clouds" sends an airstrike your way, "next drink will go to your head" has to do with passing out and spawning at one of the peyote plants locations.

That’s actually a great point, I hadn’t even thought about it. There’s nothing I could think of that would be of any real substance, unless they make it like, idk, a Dave n busters type entertainment center? Like have an arcade, tennis, pool and all kinds of other recreational stuff? I mean, you have to own an arcade to play in one and the casino doesn’t actually have any fun games to engage in, so maybe they could add something to it that would actually be attractive. Who knows.

Mile High Club is NOT a Night Club (just saying because a lot of people think it's one due to the fact it has Club in the name) however that is the point, it wouldn't bring anything new to the table, it is a hotel based on Ritz Carlton IRL, so it would be a copy of casino just without gambling (not saying that it can't include already existing content such as blackjack in a separate room, or a dance floor for example)

Well for gtao they just stitched together old trailers and called it a day. Since they haven't done that for rdr2 as well I would assume they are planning something bigger, something that deserve a new trailer. But thats just a theory.

If you think there are no signs and its just speculation you clearly haven't been paying attention... Sure, You might not believe that the hints from the staff are real, but thats a different discussion. They leaving more hints about Catalina than they left for the yacht before summer special was officially announced.

And speaking of effort - making a small island would probably take less effort then they put into Arena War and Casino dlcs (depending on the size of that island ofc)

I'm not saying you are wrong, its surly possible. But we all agree that would be pretty childish of them... Especially since its not a single person, we had multiple staff members hinting at it.

I just park something huge in that place (like Avenger and Brickade) to block those spawn points and I usually get phantom wedges (since those spawn in a different place). Doesn't always work tho.

You always get 2 Phantom Wedges if you doing a bigger sale. Also I never had a problem with delivering both of them on time and my Bunker is in grand senora desert.

Not much you could add? Theres a lot of possibilities for a heist there. Art gallery, casino, cartel owned mansions etc.
