The Yacht will finally have more than a single mission tied to it after nearly 5 years since it's release... let me overvalue what little we're getting just this once after the daily kick in the balls this year has and is continuing to be and seeing something I low-key hoped to see back when we were coming hot off the heels of Arena War, for as poorly timed as it was it introduced the potential of updates being centred around a Criminal Pursuits era of GTA Online, much akin to what RDO got with Frontier Pursuits.

Given all that's in the game now, vehicles, weapons and interiors, they could totally go wild with the mission ideas, an excuse to imitate the ridiculousness of some of the payphone missions in GTA 3. I'm just hoping they release one or even two characters "extra/new" missions inbetween now and the Heist update.

they should give us the option to turn off the phone but on the other hand if they allow is to turn off the phone then how they gonna spam us with annoying calls to harass us into buying whatever property they want us to own

 

the option to remove/hide contacts should be a thing too, so many useless contacts makes no sense.

Well, sometimes they're very helpful.  I mean, did you know you could start a heist from the heist room in your high-end apartment?  Thank god for Lester, I would be lost without him.  /s

You know that thing where if 10 people are already ceo, the game will refuse to let you become one. Well there are 12 locations on the map the yacht can be. But each of the 12 has 3 places a yacht can spawn. So technically 36 yachts could be on the map at once. But in our case only 30.

 

So given how some players have used the closest apartment and closest arcade for the heists, if yachts somehow play a role in the next heist, the game is not going to handle all those yachts in the same area very well. Any more than 3 people with a yachts in the same spot may cause potential issues in the future. Game will have to relocate yachts any time more than 3 people have one since most will want it close as possible to the heist. Than after you get the white screen of doom after finishing said heist, the game will not only attempt to put you and your members in the same freemode, it will also take longer cause of the yachts. And disconnects after finishing heists will skyrocket even more than they happen now.

 

Let's hope R* thought of this before the update in 3 days. lul

I just hope that however the new missions are launched, it's not something that permanently f***s with existing yachts...

 

For instance, a mission corona that can be turned off in the interaction menu (and you can launch it straight from the pause/jobs tab instead)? Fine, all good. But some new console or terminal, or some permanent thing stuck to yachts that risks launching a mission every time you accidentally brush past it? Not so much...

Me too; I keep my cars at at manageable number, but I have a friend who's all out of garage space so I'm hoping they add some. She just can't bring herself to sell cars that she owned for years.

 

I also feel bad for @Lonely-Martin who is unable to join the prestigious club of Vagrant owners without additional garage space.

 

The original yacht update increased the property limit to 5 and added stilt houses as well as penthouses. So maybe the limit will be increased again to 7 or 8, or even removed completely!

I see us buying a $1.25 upgrade that gives an extra room where you start the missions from inside the yacht. Betting there will be different yacht interiors you can choose from. Something like how you can change the inside of the biker clubhouse or the ceo office garage or ceo garage mod shop for your office garages. You can already customize a bunch for the exterior of the yacht.

Its tradition for me to keep the first car in any gta. Still have my Futo in Online and BMX in San Andreas.

Its not that hard actually. I could tell you the location of all the cars I own and in most cases even their color just from my memory.

Granted many of them are just collection pieces these days and have not been driven in quite a while (because of that stupid flying bike), but I still see no point in selling them since they are marks of my progress in gta online.

I tryed it myself back in the day and got sick of it almost imidiatly. I'm glad that back then we only had regular garages, so I did not clutter my secondary with so many useless propertys.

I have two characters, both levelled up with all businesses, and they don't have a single property, location, or vehicle in common. Depending on my mood, I'll play one over the other instead of switching between them all the time, and I never run out of space. All you need is a little imagination.

What if I told you that only the original heists were made in the heist creator, but the 2nd and 3rd "heists" were made in the contact mission creator?  So they were right, we only did those original heists.
