Exactly. They fixed the MK2 when they adjusted spawns and brought back the ability to shoot the driver again. These changes bring the MK2 back to jet like levels of being OP.

I don't know why but I have a thought that we might as well be "arrested" during a race, later some mini mission with recovering the car from the police station or even its loss for some time, DLC may be associated with new, interesting races in the city and outside, new hidden garages from law enforcement and as a contact they could add Hao or even a Franklin. Introducing the new order as vigilante would be something new and interesting referring to what most speculate here but we don't really know what yan meant when he wrote that nobody would want to be arrested.

And if the next dlc is cops n crocks whats yung ancestor situation has to do with that

What Yan said means absolutely nothing, he can’t leak anymore.  I would hope the dlc would have a better story than getting arrested for racing.  It shouldn’t involve racing at all because we already have had racing updates and we don’t need anymore there are plenty of options for racing and they will add the open wheel race creator as drip feed and maybe a couple new f1 cars.  But in my personal opinion I think we would be arrested for selling illicit drugs, cars, guns, etc.  and get blackmailed by either police detectives or the FIB (maybe Dave Norton) they see how skilled we are with pulling off heist so they make us do some sort of job or mission maybe even a heist to where we have to pretend to be police officers.  Ultimately for a large amount of money and freedom.

What do you mean with removed and added back?

The cars parked inside there are random. From a lore perspective it would just mean that he sometimes visits the casino and sometimes he is elswhere doing other stuff.

There not exactly random, I agree with you on the last part that it is to make it seem that he isn’t there all the time.  But most of the time it is always there.

Yes youre right, but it does solve many other issues. And itll make it impossible to take down other missile equipped vehicles.

 

Although if youre stuck on the ground and in free aim like me you can throw a sticky and detonate it mid air with perfect timing youll blow up a mk2 user. Or if youre an og loc free aim rpg them

I would love a "Dirty Cop" DLC. Abuse a power, protecting criminals, being a hitman, getting and accepting bribes...

Still wishing for a two-door Rancher. A Riata Classic in the form of a Bronco and a Sandking Classic in the form of an F-250 High Boy or an old box-body Ford are at the top of my list, but the IV Rancher would be just as great. Just slap the Riata mods on it and you're done. It'd be cool to get the police version of the Rancher as well as the police cruisers from the prologue.

So it's not fixed then. Besides, the ridiculous lock-on and the accessibility make it far more potent than a jet. You can snap your fingers and one appears feet away from you.

It’s fixed alright it’s just OP. Having OP vehicles in the game is great and makes playing and selling in a full lobby exciting and challenging. Most players don’t seem to have a problem judging by the continued player count and sales.
 

I know there is a small but loud minority and luckily rockstar doesn’t cater games or updates to them. Hopefully the next update brings another OP vehicles. If it’s more balanced and a counter to the MK2 thats fine by me. If it’s something even more OP that’s even more exciting and I will buy two. 😉

 

On a different topic if there are mansions in this or the some future update I hope they introduce Lorenzo O’Houlian to help transform us into exactly what’s important In Vinewood.

I agree that the suggested change to the Mk 2 wouldn't affect much, but even the two changes you mention don't really affect players who can free-aim missiles from outside lock-on range. Granted, those players are rare. But in the right hands, the Mk 2 is still more OP than jets. Explosive sniper ammo exists and the original counter to jets of BST+heavy sniper works fine as well.

Nah it’s dumb to have a OP vehicle it makes every aircraft and land vehicle completely pointless and a waste of money, gta online was great before the oppressor now I have to NAT type every session I’m in because it is pointless to deal with these people that use it for trolling.  There will always be someone that uses what they can to troll.  It’s not “fun” to waste your time on selling in a lobby with people and sell the product that took at least 2+ to accrue, when they just blow it up and it’s gone and they don’t get any reward but maybe $5,000.  Its a cancer in this game that for some reason rockstar ignores.  If they make anything like it in gta 6 then it will prove they learned nothing.

Lol, MK2... Fixed... What a joke 🤣, a bigger joke than the bikes existence itself... Its not even remotely balanced.

 

It obsceleted every vehicle in existence, all for the purpose of some players who have no skill to pay there way through everything.. Thats its sole existence to cater towards greifers and casuals with no skill... I dont care how usefull it is for grinding.

It’s nowhere near that bad I play and sell in full lobbies almost everyday and never have to resort to solo lobbies. The game just caters to a different player and playing style than what you enjoyed. Luckily there are peaceful crew lobbies, solo sessions and story mode for that style of play.

Okay there are so many flaws to what you are saying, and I really don’t want to go into it.  It’s not that it doesn’t cater to my playing style, it’s that it’s the only thing that can take down every single type of vehicle in the game, it’s not balanced at all.  Not just for sell missions but just trying to have a somewhat realistic feel for 1v1s rather than worrying about some moron in a flying bike that I know I can’t beat unless I’m using the same vehicle.  There is no rewarding feel of killing someone with a oppressor, it just feels like you’re cheating.  Having some sort of method or technique to beat your enemy would be a lot better than a homing missile on a non touchable hover bike.  There is no argument to this other than it is good for missions and what not, or you just like using something that no one can beat and you feel good about yourself after doing so.  It has completely ruined Free roam.  Change my mind.

It is that bad! It is designed to be the way it is. An OP easymode griefing tool to satisfy little Jimmys power trip.

At this point 99,999% of the mk2s are dark red griefing dipsh*ts.

Well the more idiots use their mk2 to grief the more I get to blow up with my Lazer and Stromberg.  Their hatemail is tasty as f*ck.

It’s a sandbox free roam game meant to have endless killing of every possible way you can imagine. Sounds like different playing styles. I’m all for more and more weapons and vehicles from weak to OP.

Why are you getting blown up by a MK2 in a Lazer?
 

I’m in a session right now with 28 people 5 MK2’s on the map and they aren’t killing anyone.

But killing players with a mk2 has no skill or style at all.  With it being in the game it takes away “endless killing of every possible way you can imagine” there’s only one true way you can kill and keep killing and that is with a mk2.

Wich brings us to another thing that should be removed/changed with the next dlc. And while they are at it take these bloody stupid explosive shotgunshells out too.

There are certainly levels of MK2 riders some can be a pain in the ass but now that they have to heist spawn or go to the TB to spawn another it’s easily defended. Before the change it was crazy being able to constantly spawn them. 
 

Not trying to change anyone’s mind here just breaking up the usual MK2 conversation by giving my opinion that some players enjoy the chaos even when they aren’t griefing.

I enjoy chaos as much as the next guy and I mostly agree with what you’re saying but the mk2 is just too un-controllable.

That would bring out the jet crews again and that was pure hell at times when 5 or 6 jets spawn killed you. I enjoy shotgunning those Kuruma kids so much though.

And now the sniper makes flying anything that is not an mk2 pretty much impossible (aside from making sniping pure cancer) while the explosive slugs make everything not armored undrivable (aside from making close quater encounters pure f*cking cancer).
