Last period I played was months ago and after people even used the hydra vtol mode against my ruiner I quit. 

 

 

 

What is even going on? The playerbase is just as retarded as the content were getting since 2018

There were more car manufacturers in the US in 1899 than there are in 2020. There were 4 in Denver and 2 in New Orleans alone.  Cars were fully capable of 25 miles an hour by then, and motorcycles were gaining popularity as well. Then there’s stuff like bicycles [imagine doing revolver drivebys on a penny farthing]

I could rattle off upwards 40 unique and interesting weapons they could add. The first semi-automatic firearms were developed in the 1870s [we already have two semi-auto pistols, and a double action revolver which is functionally the same thing], and the first fully automatic rifles were being experimented with in the 1890s.

 

It’s 1899 not 1599, It’s DEEP into the industrial revolution. Gliders existed, mechanical computers were being toyed with, much of the western world was rapidly expanding the electrical grid. Telegraphs were everywhere and telephones were in the process of replacing them. There’s plenty of both Western and more broadly Victorian-era stuff they could do. They already tease some steampunk-esque stuff with Dravic in SP, and with the metal detector in MP. People weren’t stupid back then, and it wasn’t the dark ages.

I'd assume the pandemic is having some sort of effect, not much isn't in some way out there. But even if it isn't, with many people isolating, the numbers have surely got to be good which could give R* more time, I hope, to create something good or reason to hold off for a bit. Though I feel it's still early for a summer DLC so maybe next month we learn more.

 

Regarding Fun's speculation, it can't be easy. If he/she posts speculation, given the past, many will take it as fact and YouTube will light up with all the desperados seeking to make a buck off of the speculation. 

 

And on the off-chance Fun did know what's to come next, they'd have to speculate something else which once we learn what'll come, it might lead to plenty of nonsense from those that expected his speculations to come true if it doesn't

June is exactly in the middle of the year and December is right at the end of the year.

 

It would make the waiting time equal between each new update.

That's true, but I think they release an update in December every year because they kinda have to, Christmas is when the kids (and people in general) A. Have more free time to play the game and B. Most importantly, have the money to spend on micro-transactions. The Holidays are also when new consoles are bought, and new games are bought, and what better publicity for a game like GTA V than 'a new update JUST came out'. In the summer however, they can take a little more time to polish everything and release the update whenever they feel like it (maybe even delay it a few times) because many people still work in June and July, and the schools well that depends on the country, and they're probably not gonna make more money if they release it on June instead of July. That's my 2 cents on it.

 

I mean, you can see for yourself how much more polished The Diamond Casino & Resort update was, while the Heist update that came out in December was (and still is) more littered with bugs and problems that they've yet to fix. Just try joining any casino Heist through quick join and you'll see what I mean.

If they are ever doing mansions, then I hope that those mansions also comes with a actual NPC chauffeur, that drives us anywhere we want to go, like the taxi and limo driver from the Casino...But using our PVs instead.

Because frankly, having a Enus Windsor Drop or a Stafford and having to drive the cars ourselves just feels wrong, we need a driver for those, just so we can properly appreciate the car and look down on the plebs outside, driving their own cars like savages.

 

Give the driver a pompous name like Benson, Alfred or Jeffrey.

Hummmm...quite off-topic, but right now i was trying to go play gta and the launcher didn't launch. It got an error. Error 6000.87. I checked the servers status and all are with green light. I also enter in the socialclub via browser and seems like my character is ok. If i was banned i would a reset in the character stats right? I'm saying thins, bcz some modaf* thursday make some money bags fall over my head without me even asking for such! I didn't put the money in the bank and i killed myself until i got rid of it. I even sent a ticket to R* to inform what happened and the way i proceded, but i didn't got any answer yet. Side note: i noticed that the socialclub is quite slower than usual. So, wtf happened with my game?!



TRANSLATION: Offline. Error in online login. It wasn't possible to resort to the offline login because you didn't done login previously in this machine (WTF! I only use this pc now!). The offline game is available only for accounts that already did login previously in this machine (with "Remember" marked) connected to the internet and with the Social Club services available.

EDIT: I run the launcher as Adminstrator, it worked. I will leave the post here anyways, in order to help someone who get the same issue! Thx to @KingTheSon

Id Recommend to either try launching Rockstar Launcher in Administration mode or check windows firewall if it Blocks connection for the launcher.

Dont worry about the bags, you wont get banned because of them. Half the time they dont even get removed again because the amount is so tiny that the anti cheat does not notice it. Just switch sessions asap and you will be fine. (Well unless the anti cheat bot has a really bad day, but you if that happens you could be 100% legit and could still get banned.)

And if you ever got a larger amount of cheat cash in your account DO NOT get rid of it through any means. It will count as spend and makes it more likely that you get your a$$ banned. Remember the amount and always keep your balance well above it until its removed (or a lot of time has passed aka multiple years). Thats why I always stay above 10 Million.

 

From what I remember, you got the epic games version. Try the log in through epic.

Call me crazy, but I would love one of these for the police dlc.

Opressor proof, able to go offroad, reasonably fast and manouverable (considering its armor and size) and enough space for a whole SWAT team in the back.

Basicly what the RCV should have been.

Except they will make it blow up in single explosion like the RCV. Plus probably a pegasus spawn point, wont be able to push vehicles down to light vehicles like the ruiner, and stall when going up a 5° grade

I got a copy in epic games, due it turned out free. But i play with this account since 2015, retail version. It's not even from steam.

P.S: the servers are again f*cked up. I just exited gta now. It wasn't saving in the cloud and you could go to the social club via game.

Point 4: i agree, my Best bet Will be a nightshark mk2 with stromberg missiles, but this is just a dream

I’m just putting this out there as a piping dream.

 

If the next update IS revolving around police, they better include some non-lethal equipment. I’m talking stun guns, beanbag guns, maybe even tweaks to existing weapons (Tear gas and every blunt weapon) to be able to not necessarily kill, of course, but maybe render them immobile, almost like the knockout system in MGSV multiplayer.

 

And that’s a big if.

You don’t need missiles for it to be useful. All they have to do is remove the missiles and it can still be used for missions and business's.  If they were to do that then gta online would be back to a state where it’s actually fun to use other aircrafts and what not, without there always being a one superior vehicle that can take everything out.

Calm the f down. Nobody is taking away you broomstick.

The missiles however should be takes off. Same thing with the Deluxo and the mk1. Give them high damage machineguns instead and maybe even the slow firerate lowdamage canons the mk2 can equip.

They dont even need to remove it, just remove the ability to lock on to other players and vehicles. But keep the ability to lock on to npc's
