It was not MrNoName, or BossManf*ckDaWorld idea...those youtubers get their ideas to make clickbait videos in here, bcz our own speculations and sometimes "piping dreams". The CnC was "going to be a thing" since GTA Wise Guy made that trailer of Tuners and Outlaws and after that the seed was planted: "hum...what if a CnC dlc would make it to the game?"

R* knows that their more popular game is gta online right? Because they should've prioritize it more than that other game that a lot less people play and already release update. Instead of that, they most likely withhold info on next update because of that other game has to be populated with gta online playerbase and from what i've seen that rdr online update was a letdown, so i dunno what da f*ck are they waiting?

The deathbike can either be one hit killed via mines or explosions, or it can't. And when it can't, the bike is virtually invincible. The bruiser, slamvan, imperator, impaler and dominator were obsoleted at launch. The only other vehicle with a unique gimmick or potential (the vamos) was ultimately scrapped, and the other potential contenders (the manchez, cognoscenti, tempesta) weren't even brought back later on.

 

The huge paywall for what is the same adversary mode pay system is absolutely unacceptable as well. The AP you get is so paltry that it's more efficient to gamble in the spectator box, the rng unlocks bar pegasus vehicles makes the price inflation they did on every upgrade and clothing item in the game mandatory unless you really want to grind the same meta-riddled game modes for a year plus.

 

I do think some of the hate AW got was unjustified, as it did add a lot to the game with the chance of including them in the future (emp mechanics, kinetic physics used by mines/the up n' atomizer for example) and not to mention the absolutely gorgeous muscle cars that were added, and the rather nice soundtrack that followed, so nice that i'm honestly surprised isn't being used for more modes instead of the beyond stale smuggler's run tracks nowadays. It feels like they at least half-tried on it, but half assing anything doesn't quite cut it

Not to mention that unlock of the go go space monkey blista, that if you don't do that with the help of a friend, you're f*cked. It toke me and my friend ilke 2 months (we did it in slow pace) to make each of of us get the car, it was like 410 AW modes played, and i was almost going nuts. Same with those freaking plushies of the arcade, i know guys that only got one after being trying for 5-6 hours, and some, even were capable of get them. WTF R* think we are? They must want that we lose our minds.

Im still wondering why they didn't put the apocalypse deathbike on the podium, we had arena war event couple weeks ago and they didn't put it too instead they put the scramjet maybe they have an issue with it

Not at all. Good post, easy to understand and well written .

 

It's so much easier to talk about all the things we hate in life and in GTA online instead of focusing on the more positive things, but that's the way we work as a collective group. It's not always nice sifting through all the hate and negativity, but that's how we self-reflect and improve, and I can guarantee that Rockstar don't take it on the chin either.

 

Getting all the trophies and reaching level 100 was a big thing for me in AW, and let's not forget the RC Bandito and its range of benefits, but for all that. I'm totally done with AW and don't want to see an update.

I actually didn't mind the "tv gameshow bs". But true, it got repetitive really quickly. They should record waaaay more lines if they wanted the mode to be so grindy. Also there should be an option to turn it off if you want.

Probably covid f*cked their scheduled plans. And to add to that, if CnC was really to be a thing, what happened in the US, had a word to say in it to be cancelled or kept for later. Either way, whatever the reason(s) made the fact thatt for the first time the summer dlc will not, apparently, be as they always have been: big and with a solid theme. That's why they gave priority in giving us more detailed info for the winter update instead of the summer one, with almost zero info about it. And all this to pass the message btw the lines: "hey, don't come with pictchforks to our company's buildings, ok? We will make it count on Christmas."

No disrespect, buddy, but these features are purely optional. I got nowhere near the Go-Go Monkey Blista (stopped at the trash truck for AW level 100), and the plushies are certainly not essential (I stopped at the two easiest ones at the front). Unlocking these features is for addicts.

dear god not this again... yeah, its was in alpha version of gtao before it was even released. They quickly scrapped it cause it sucked. And there was no proof that they wanted to make it a thing again after that. Only pipe dreams and speculations.

That's why i already said twice: maybe bcz a AW part 2 is the next update and the deathbiker will serve as the podium vehicle for the first week.

What would be very, but veeeeery nice to have would be a turn off switch to not be forced to listen all Lester's phrases during the preps and the heists themselves.

Since you mention it, what we can speculate about this is: why they did a 2 weeks bonus week? Bcz a) some bugs appeared in the last minute and thus the dlc needed to be postponed for more one week, or b) it's exactly what happened with RDO, 2 weeks with the same bonus week and then, the dlc.

You know, if the "new location" is a map expansion and not just a new building to heist, it will give the Mapping Los Santos thread a revival. I cant believe that was almost 7 years ago, logging on to the forums every hour to see what new information was found and all the people excited after seeing the new trailers or waiting for R* to release more screen shots; trying to piece together the map before anything official was released like a treasure hunt. After hearing about this new, completely unexpected info from a friend, I kinda have that same nostalgic feeling again.

People are more focused on the upcoming summer DLC compared to the "biggest update to GTA Online". We are still 4 and a half months out from a possible release (mid-December), so for right now, you will see much more speculation regarding whats coming sooner rather than later.

Well...i didn't say that. In fact i have a secondary character that is a female i was thinking more in her. But yeah, for the lols i would like to have also a male variation, like we also had a female variation for the Impotent Rage outfit, althought, it was the same version. But in this cases, hardly would be exactly the same variation for female and male.

***Speculation***

Lets think reasonably about this for a minute.

 

If the idea for the December update is to release a new area, the two most logical possibilities out of all areas would be North Yankton or Liberty City. North Yankton is a decent sized small town like Grapeseed and it is already crudely designed / developed. With the amount of time Rockstar has had to work on things, I am sure they were able to refine what we can already see in exploration videos of people glitching to NY while adding better buildings and town layouts. 

 

Liberty City would be an easy option for developers to create on the new engine since it is also an HD era city. LC is already planned out and would be a large enough area to keep most players satisfied until the release of GTA VI. I feel there are enough GTA 4 characters that have been left in Liberty City to offer jobs and opportunities ( i.e. Luis, Yusif Amir, Roman, possibly Liberty Paper Guy and Karen, Elizabeta, Little Jacob, etc.). There are plenty of apartments, penthouses, and properties that could be bought across the boroughs. 

I could also see this option POSSIBLY being a part of the developers going with Leslie Benzies (even though he left) and the Houser brother's original idea for GTA. GTA Online will be a standalone title incorporating all of the GTA cities eventually. Adding Liberty City to Online now would build the two coastlines while boosting shark card sales; and then they will add whichever city they are working on for GTA VI to Online and so forth. 

 

Edit: Disclaimer* This is only if *IF* the "new location" actually means a new location. I could be thinking to much into it. I am fully aware they could only mean a new heist location.
