Exactly. In 7 years of updates they literally never said that before. They wouldn't say entirely new location if they didn't mean entirely new  location. For example:

Arcades - "In order to plan the biggest Heist ever perpetrated in Los Santos, Heist crew leaders will setup an unexpected new commercial venture as a front, a retro Arcade business property"
Casino - "Today marks the grand opening of The Diamond Casino & Resort, a sprawling entertainment and luxury living complex conveniently located in Vinewood and open to all citizens of Southern San Andreas"
AfterHours - "Get your venture off the ground with some help from the legendary Tony Prince"
GunRunning - "Your career as a prolific arms dealer begins with the acquisition of a Bunker"
DDH - "First, one member of your crew needs to own one of the previously undisclosed IAA facilities hidden under Southern San Andreas"
SmugglersRun - "Customizable Hangar properties are the center for your new smuggling ring"
CEO - "in partnership with SecuroServ, now have a new line of deluxe office suites specifically for the motivated career criminal."

^ Everything in here is a "new location" but nothing was even close to implying that we might be getting an entirely new place. They know that misleading people would mean bad PR, thats why they never did that before. They choose their words wisely. 

Also I checked how they translated that recent newswire post in other languages (cause that sometimes helped us before. If you speak another language - you should check it as well). And it always translates back to something like "biggest update so far that will include a heist in an entirely new place".

So yeah, another synonym but it still sounds like we are getting a new place we haven't seen before. Worst case scenerio? New building that wasn't there before (huge mansion in the hills, cruise ship etc). Best case scenerio? New island or Liberty City.

I'm usually very critical of R* but I just can't see them using "an entirely new location" just to hype up a regular old building like Mile High Club.

People (including myself) just speculate about why Rockstar said "entirely new location". It's not something to say or point out if it's just a new interior/building. DDH had plenty new interiors and a new big underground location for act 3 finale and they never bothered to advertise this. The fact that they actually said that in the news means that at least is something exciting and to look forward. Idk if it's LC (seems too much tbh) but something bigger than a new building is more plausible with that wording.

For the smaller dlc? No hype cause I have no idea what it might be. All I seen is yet another hypercar that looks like a spaceship. 

For the "biggest dlc ever" and the possibility of getting something entirely new for once?

Well... IF they do plan to add a new island/city in the next dlc after this one, I guess it would be logical for them to improve all the things they have so far before they move on to the next place, right?

And can you even imagine how much money would they make rereleasing all the old content on the new map? Buy new office, new bunker, new arcade, new garages? This could be a goldmine for them and they wouldn't even have to create new content, just remake the old one in a new place. Remaking LC could be the smartest thing they ever did.

Inside the German newswire, Location is translated with Schauplatz, which means Location/scenery/Spot. So more a little area than a new Island/City. But thats a Lot of speculation

This mission back in the day was flat out a pain in the ass to do. Nearly no heli spawns and had to rely on Merryweather getting you up to Maze Bank then parachute down.

 

After taking care of everything. Getting down was a pain. Had to carefully walk across the gurder to the crane then make your way down the ladders while the chasing enemies shoot up and climb up.

According to tezfun the background update patched some money glitches, no Cars added, release is closer.

Yes, but technically is a new brand: before Lowrider DLC, with the Willard Faction, no other Willard vehicles appeared in GTA 5

Rockstar is slowing down support for rdr online. After tomorrow's update Rockstar is going to focus completely on the GTA online updates and the next gen version of GTA V. 

 

in 2021 rdr online will get less updates than gta online

They can keep the clunky magnet, just sell me the "mission" cargobob, theres one thats used in most missions (even in freemode events) that has like 2,5x the length of cable below it & its strong enough to lift an army tank like its nothing, the one we can buy has too short of a cable and struggles to lift even a basic SUV. The worst thing about this is that there was a glitch where we could store the mission version but i only heard about that months after it got patched xD point is theres people that have this special version as personal vehicle, so i want it too.

I see a good way of reasoning, I hit the like button. Also, they know this late summer update might not be too apealing to everybody so they feel like teasing the next one since it's not that far away and could get people interested and looking forward to the future of the game, specially if it's implying a map expansion (even if it's small, people will be decently pleased).

Exactly! You climb the crane. Then jump with the chute. 

After getting the case you carefully parkour back to the crane, climb down kill incoming enemies and then straight to Lesters house.

 

Try it its extremely fun especially with friends!

Yeah with that solo and ned luke video hinting at them returning for a “heist” it makes sense the trio will return for the biggest GTA online DLC, I always thought seeing Jimmy again was a hint towards that
