Iam pretty confident that PC Will receive the updates, the player base still strong plus shark card sales plus "enhanced experience", PC is more powerfull than consoles, plenty of reasons

Yeah it will Rockstar have said 'the journey through the ever-evolving, shared world of GTA Online will continue on to the new generation with more new updates including additional GTA Online content exclusive to the new consoles and PC.' so it's confirmed it will along with next gen.

I hope with this dlc coming to gta online they add more of the vehicles from single player would really love to use that tow truck

Seeing as online is going stand-alone plus they heavily intend on milking this cow that gives golden milk to them, I don’t think it’s out of the question or unreasonable

Or even the Lost Gang Burrito for players who don't want the Heists 2015 version, are in multiple crews, or even don't have the social club to put a Lost emblem on it.

Yeah true I can’t remember any others off the top of my head just more single player cars would be great if this dlc isn’t big

Well according to someone on the forum they were/are working on vice city but aren’t sure if it’s for 6 or 5

Problem solving from 2018, trying to figure out how to add mansions, before major map alterations like the casino were ever officially conceived, and combining it with the concept of a Naval DLC.

 

The solution back then was have the islands sold to us by Bogdan and have them behave like Yachts. They only appear in an allocated position at a certain area around the map when a player spawns in the lobby who owns one.

Im happy there is still new content but sure rockstar is not doing that for welfare, they sure are making some nice $ with cards. Not hyped like for a new game, but im still happy with this.

And i bet after all this free money it wont be cheap.

Appart from this, well people want a place that has snow all year long so Ludendorf would be the obvious choice. People want a new place to explore and outside of the two missions you dont see much of NY. Sure there isnt anything there appart from what you drive along in the missions. Yet.

That could change with an update.

And let´s be honest: before the casino opened in GTA Online no one expected it to be a huge map expansion with a completely remodeled exterior...the biggest map expansion so far in gta online. Right now everyone EXPECTS another building like the Mile High Tower for the new heist to take place at...something predictable. I think Rockstar Games doesn´t want to be seen as a predictable developer so they´re prolly gonna surprise us again with the winter update...with a truly new Location in GTA Online like North Yankton, Liberty City or another Island who knows. Something huge we wouldn´t have thought to be possible, something huge and entirely new that ends old gen DLCs with a big bang and leads to next gen.

yeah probably,  I Also hope for las venturas, it really would be a great new location but this is rockstar I Don't think they're gonna add a big location like las venturas or liberty city maybe they will add a portion of it just maybe, I Think they're gonna just make a medium sized island with a lot unnecessary activities etc, or they will just make a new location for the heist and it will not be available like north yankton. (I Just hope they don't do this, I Would really like a map extension)

I’ve wanted an expansion to the pier with new functional games and rides for years, so yeah los Venturas would  1000% float my boat and I’d be very interested as to what they’d add there( hoping this new location isn’t just for the heist)

Yea the fog really made the map seem bigger than it is, still my favorite map of all time regardless. If the newer systems can handle it I hope R* does add LV/SF all connected to each other like SA. It would be awesome to have a nice road trip with your buddies city to city.

Wow that map really isn't as big as it feels. Amazing what fog does I guess. 

Still taking "road trips" from city to city was one of my preferred past times in that game and it would be nice to do it again in HD.

we know rockstar are making gta online standalone next year which always meant one thing map expansions my guess lc then vc down the line when six comes out .

but any good company might give there customer base a sample of the overall product so get them to buy the product.

my theory is rockstar who have been working on the lc map expansion since 2014 will add it to current gen as the final update for the game with the heist story wrapped around it .

lc will have the basics only purchasable property the one for the heist setup like the arcade an apartment or something like that with a garage and nothing else expect free roam.

current gen can handle a map expansion but future updates which rockstar have already said is coming are only for nexr gen online and lc can be expanded over time .

probably another lobby to get around sync issues start of the menu you have the option to load to lc same as current online sp and the current discounts for the week.

ls goes and lc loads up same as a adversary mode its a different map expect on a larger scale.

give current players a taste of the new online to get them to buy next gen for the new online.

sony has a deal with rockstar for the next online so it would have made more sense if this was only a heist to hold it off for ps5 tell players you are getting lc which will be updated over time its a selling point to get people to buy a ps5 which is out around the same time as this update .

I said this before, kind of, but I want to reiterate. The wording of this announcement ("new take on heists in a new location") strongly, strongly suggests something other than a giant map expansion. If they were truly adding a new map or city or whatever to free roam, they wouldn't lead with heists. Heists are old news--we have a bunch of them and the last one added isn't even that old yet. If this was adding a vast playable space to free roam that happened to have a new heist associated with it, I strongly believe this announcement would read very differently.

 

Read into the choice of the word "location" all you want, but this all strikes me as more of the same wishful thinking we've been seeing for years now. No Liberty City, no North Yankton, no San Fierro or Vice City. Get it out of your head. If it ever happens, it won't be this year, it won't be the update they are talking about here. (And I kind of believe it won't happen at all--too much work for too little reward. The game makes a fortune anyway, so why bother?)

 

What do I think it will be then? Something more like the casino. A pretty big, fun addition to the map that we do a heist in and has maybe some other activities associated with it. That's it.
