Haha, I actually bought one because I'm sorting my MC bike list. I won't make much of a loss selling the old one.

If I were to guess it would have to be around 2-3 years of Next Gen exclusive DLC's before the next GTA is announced

Well, i'm not too sure. Because if the Standalone Online version is being updated with 'expansions', then it'd be updated even after GTA VI. I suspect GTA VI would only be a story mode version ( much like what V is going to be on Next gen, Separate from Online ). They'd probably port 6's map onto the standalone version of Online. I don't know, too far fetched to tell.

The best option for rock* is to put Gta6 map to GTAO.

Probably not due to the cost of the upgrades. I think when selling you get 60% of what you paid for the vehicle + 50% cost of upgrades.

 

Like I said I'm just doing it because I want my MC list to go like this: favorite motorcycle (Manchez), Oppressor Mk II, Oppressor Mk I, Apocalypse Deathbike.

Yeah, what i get back in money is probably what i costs to buy half off and fully upgraded. So, really, it's pointless.

I got ~20 bikes; I just want my most used all next to each other in the MC list.

 

If I could change my fav, I'd probably choose the Deathbike instead because it's extremely fast with the Gargoyle speed glitch and allows the use of handheld weapons unlike the Oppressors. But I got so many hours on the Manchez that it isn't happening. Plus the Manchez is actually my favorite bike lookswise and fun to drive, so it's all good.

Besides rock* added too much content for GTAO. If they made a new online mode For VI, there won’t be much content at all.

I think it happened sometime ago as well. But i'm slightly disappointed that it isn't that rare cool special crate drop. But i guess special cargo is worth it.

Ages ago R* said they wanted online to be an ever expanding universe.

T2 recently said they want a more regular income stream, thats widely been assumed to be smaller games but a release every few years instead of decade.

 

So, spin off online and leave it going forever. Re-release story mode so it looks pretty.

New content will only be on next gen, just like they did for PS3/360. Leave PS4/Xbone still running though.

Announce GTA6 for, say 2023. If you buy it that map gets added to online.

 

I do think online will get tidied up at some point - some mechanics have been kinda of over run a little, like getting a car from your mechanic, the 63 different ways to earn from businesses, how you select a car for a race etc. I think they migth organise this sort of thing better in future.

 

The unknown at this point is if they move online to a subscription or stay with the "free but buy sharkcards if you want" model that have so far.
