Oh, trust me, the list can go on and on about what games have cheaters. From my own experience, most peer2peer-supported games do suffer the most in terms of cheaters, but I've seen a few in WoW, LoL, and Overwatch which have dedicated hosted servers.

 

That said, I definitely agree that it may be because of the peer2peer networking, and dedicated hosted servers would definitely lower the amount of cheaters, and, just like the mentioned games above, will have a better way to track and ban offenders.

Since online/LAN gaming on PC is existent, there are cheaters Out there. It always has been the Case and will always be. And I Play online Games since the beginning. 

 

So ist clearly a PC problem since 25 years

Streaming as well, back on PS3 if you go as fast as possible with a T20 the world starts to disappear around you or takes a few seconds to load properly, I would imagine a similar case is happening here as well for PS4.

Hopefully we don't have to worry about this for PS5 version.

In a perfect utopia, Rockstar would have official servers with the greatest cheat-protection in the world, but that's a piping dream that just isn't possible in todays day and age. 

And calling them unsuccessful employees is a bit of a stretch, considering they've sold 130 million copies worldwide, lol. You can call them greedy, but definitely not unsuccessful.

I know you mean well but i hate when people try 'justify' this sh*t with that logic, lets face it, R* is beyond terrible at detecting cheaters, and that really mostly comes down to them being R*, they really could do a whole lot more to deal with this problem. And while theres certainly cases of bad anti-cheat all over gaming (i mean the kind that hogs your cpu etc) theres also plenty of games that do manage to keep cheaters at bay just fine without destroying the game's performance at the same time.

I mean, they even introduced a new launcher recently, if there was ever a place where they could've shoe-horned better anti-cheat into GTA:Online it was in that launcher, but no lets just use it as a store nobody really needs and nothing else.

Other perfect example, its no secret that cheaters have had access to the R* moderation tools ingame for YEARS now, i dont know about any of you but ive NEVER seen a R* moderator, so what the actual f- why dont they just remove those tools so that cheaters cant abuse them to stop reports? but nawww fam, thats not important, relaunching the game a third time? now THAT is important...

Fingers crossed they have hired some anti-cheat developers for the re-launch of online, but i kinda doubt it, at the bottom line cheaters make them more money so they will likely continue to let them run amok. That said its no secret that cheaters are part of why RDO isnt nearly as big a success as some people (and im sure R* and T2) expected (incase unaware the pc launch of rdo was rough to say the least) so who knows, they might've actually learned something there.

The problem is not that there are people who use cheats in GTA Online, you are right, hackers will always exist in an environment that is as open as a PC. The problem is the sheer amount of hackers that exist. CS:GO has hackers in it but you will only encounter them periodically. GTA Online has at least one hacker in every populated lobby, generally many more.

Yes. Players who had it applied it before it was removed still have it. 

 

If you were to remove it, then it is gone from the livery list.

 

From what I gather it was removed during the week it was on the Podium. 

 

But why?

If by a minute you mean some point during the last 7 months, then you haven't missed much, we do not know anything about the next DLC, there's a general speculation that is is Police themed (and that it has been delayed lel), but there's nothing solid about that.

i had the finale open for 3 years...i finished act 2 (bogdan) on december 17th 2017...

Friday is the last sensible day I'll hold out for, but the very last day I can put any hope in before it becomes completely irrational to keep waiting is July 9th, after that... I'm out until official word, I have other games as well as other things I'd like to do this Summer.

nah.

it´s just i had for some reason horrible performence in the area in which you hack the servers to cancel the launch...

and my little brother grabbed the game on epic when it was free...and we tried to finally do it yesterday... and after 6h we finally got it...and survived that f*cking area...i really felt a sense of pride and accomplishment after that
