I feel there's been a lot of those this year (no offense to legit new joiners who don't look to start any crap. You cool.). Maybe it's tied to Epic free gta?

 

Either way, I know I was new myself at one point (first joined to see if I could find someone to help me spawn a Dubsta2 back in late '15. Good times.) but I didn't go around and make smugass claims on things pretending I knew everything.

The funny thing about this rant is you're the exact reason why youtubers exist, you watched all their videos and made them money. Until people quit doing that the youtubers are always going to exist.

 

You might have noticed a good proportion of their "content" (using the term loosely) from here in the first place. THey don't really care what they talk about, long as they're getting the clicks from folk like your good self..

 

Anyway, moving on. If there is any sort of DLC before December I expect it'd just be a bunch of cars and stuff, nothing grand like the casino stuff. R* are getting a bunch of money from Sony for next years 3 month free period and anticipate earning a load more from the re-release, so devs are busy working on that rather than DLC is my guess.

 

I've seen the "GTA5 will be on PSPlus" rumour again for July. I reckon that might happen next year, would be surprised if it happened now.

They can be finicky to spawn. My favourite spot is what @Halal Cyborg said, LSIA LSC between 7 am to 3 pm, and you can get a Dubsta 2 from Agatha by requesting one from her so you canmake it possible to spawn.

 

Although I'v eretired my Dubsta 2 hunt and when I sell pre custom cars it's the Sandking XL, baby. Their spawn methods work 100% for me and it's super quick to mas them up if you have spare garage space for them.

 

Also, to keep a bit on topic, whenever I see Cops and Crooks bein abbreviated as C&C or CnC I think of good old Command&Conquer. I've had more fun with the remaster than I've had with this game because it's gone a bit stale as of now. Wait, that wasn't on topic at all!

People still think a DLC is releasing anytime soon? They would have announced it by now if that was the case since they did just that with the Diamond Casino and After Hours previously anyway.

When they gave us a 6th property they also gave us a bug that meant half the time it didn't show up on the map. Nothing is simple to add in this game.

There is no rule in place to know if they will announce an update or when.

 

Arena war were announced at 10 pm (CEWT) and were available at 10 am the next day for example

It's R*, there's nothing set in stone. Sometimes they tease the update, sometimes they don't. Sometimes they say stay tuned for more information and give us some more or they just say that for no reason and release the DLC without additional info.

It's not in the PSPlus roster for July as that's just been announced on the PSBlog.

Every week that goes by without an update is another week I get richer, reach a higher level, decide to explore something else I've not bothered with before and get more amused by the constant tantrums and screams for something new. It will come when it comes.

 

Generation X is a real blessing to be part of, we grew up with video games when they first launched in the 70s and we've played most of them of any worth that have ever been made. This is our world, whereas the internet is your world.

 

You kids have the attention span of fleas. Everything is about the next episode, the next refresh, the next update, the next version. Man, you can't even wait until next week to watch the next episode of a TV show. This isn't healthy you know, you're going a bit nutty. Ambition bites the nails of success, just enjoy what you have for once. Smell the flowers now and then.

 

ENTERTAIN ME!!!!!! I'M STARTING TO THINK HERE!!!!!" you yell like toddlers in big boy pants. Whereas, we used to sit in the dirt for hours making roads for our toy cars and hoisting them up on our Tonka cranes while Action Man and Steve Austin looked on. It's called imagination, it's what organically develops when you are bored. Boredom is OK you know, it leads to creativity. It won't kill you.

 

Seriously, I feel bad for you. If you had actually been there and seen how games like this got here, and just how primitive, basic and dull they were compared to this, you would know how lucky you are to have things like GTA. We had no autosaves. When you died, you started again. Some of you kids can't even complete a 2 lap race or 20 minute mission without throwing your toys out the pram. It's not the game, it's YOU that's defective.

 

Go explore. It's designed to be an open world sandbox, that is what it's for. It's not an inbox just to host the next email, or a comments section waiting for the next opinion.

 

Some of you need to have a word with yourselves because you are doing a great impression of that brat kid we all knew when we were young who got lots of everything he wanted at Christmas and was complaining he was bored by the 26th, while those of us who actually appreciated what we got because we knew how much work went into getting them, still played with them by the next Christmas.

 

GTA is a work of art with a million things to see and do. Most of them so much fun you can still be doing them a year later. It's not and never was meant to be Twitter where you hit refresh every 5 seconds and end up with the imagination of a goldfish.

 

Isn't the whole point of this thead to discuss what is might be, rather than just when it will be?

 

Sheesh. how depressing. Thank God the world is run by people my age and that I'll be gone when you lot are in charge, everything will look like the Mattel Mars Bar Robot Chocobot Hour parody show on the Simpsons and video games will be just a series of flashing lights and noises that put you in trances and give you seizures.

 

If the lobby background of Arean Wars is the future and gaming involves your eyeballs spinning round like a fruit machine, bring on the daisies.

 

Right, time to go and build a new track in the Creator, the perfect synergy of my imagination and Rockstar's hard work. You know, something worthwhile.

 

The next time this thread will be fun, it will involve people saying things like "4.3 gig" and "7% so far, damn my snail connection" and "got beer, got cigarettes, had breakfast and saved 30 million" etc.

Hello everyone! Just like you all i also surf here every year after getting done with the DLC Rockstar released and i look forward & speculate for the next. 

 

I love you all but y'all are acting stupid! i don't mean to be rude. This year can NEVER be compared to any other years and we all know why. I will tell more about it.

 

Although they did release a letter about it, most of you either forgot or didn't come across it. 

Guys just like everyone Rockstar is facing Covid-19 and we must understand how it is! They work limited. We all should appreciate that they STILL TO THIS DAY release FREE and new content for us. Yet this doesn't mean we shouldn't judge or get anticipated for what's coming but we have to snatch back to the real world! Coronavirus is a thing and it's affecting Rockstar just as it affects the world. Wether it's a Cop dlc or not, they have more professional reasons to delay the dlc than #BlackLivesMatter (could perhaps be ONE of the reasons why DLC is delayed). Have patience! What i do mostly is to get some special hex colors and put it on my crew and i make great cars and i join car meets. There are so many things that can be done to kill your time! Try everything. We already (i believe) got teased by the insiders. Thank you everyone! God bless you all from the Coronavirus.

 

 

(off topic) Just like before every big DLC fake content creators creates fake content and thus gets the cockroaches out of the sewer and they wander in here. Some(like me) get disciplined and be a normal person in this forum and know what & what not to say. Don't worry newly joined members, neither does this forums nor it's mods or forumers hate you. Just don't try to get attention by doing stupid things. Thanks!

We all may as well just stop speculating. There’s no dlc coming out anytime soon because the world is f*cked up. It’s stupid as hell but that’s the sad reality. So everyone should just stop trying to guess a dlc that’s not coming for months still probably if at all. I would be glad to have rockstar prove me wrong. And yes I know speculating is what this forum is for but still.

Sure, but other hit games are getting updates nevertheless (Rainbow Six Siege, Modern Warfare, Fortnite) so it's kind of understandable GTA players want a share too. But ok, I get it. Things aren't the same for all companies and that's okay, but...not even a bit of details about future plans for GTA? Apart from a bad, heavily disliked next gen trailer?

The Dunning-Kruger Effect isn't a condition, so it's not something one can suffer from.

 

It's a cognitive bias where people of low competency in something will overestimate their ability, and those with high competency will underestimate theirs.

 

An example of the effect would be someone who misses the obvious sarcasm of an in-joke --for example how Rockstar telling people to "stay tuned for updates" meant no DLC, so Rockstar not using that phrase must mean a DLC is coming-- instead interprets it as a sincere comment, and then accuses others of suffering from cognitive impairment based on that person's own misinterpretation, using a term that actually describes a cognitive bias.
