Next DLC Speculation Topic Mk IX

So how likely is it that we'll get a surprise Independence Day DLC dropping next week? Think it was last year R* mentioned that they'll put out content based on different holidays but that has materialised ... instead of a patriot classic, dominator classic and weaponised big rig with US livery we may just get the patriot for free next week?

Just because they didn’t make it available to purchase isn’t proof they’re holding it back for a future DLC, just proof that it didn’t fit their anal-retentive quality control for clothing.

Oh? the way it was explained to me earlier (like months ago now) the swat outfit was an actual player outfit rather then the low poly npc model? hmm now im wondering which of these is correct lol, thanks for these infos!

Turning CnC into Vigilante themed DLC is the most logical move. Being a vigilante makes more sense to us than being a cop. We will protect the city from many criminals and we will expand our illegal market.

I already try to be a vigilante (with my multiple suits I have been doing it since 2017). I strive to have my next battle suit be upgraded in technology, superior to the last iteration. I ride around Los Santos in my Vigilante quite often, protecting people from cargo griefers and the likes..

 

I wouldn't mind a fully fledged Vigilante DLC.. Even if it is just a rebranded Cops n' Crooks theme, I'm all for some fun and inventive ways of taking people down and saving others. Yes the game may be called Grand Theft Auto, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who likes playing hero..

Were there security cameras on the Nightclub Desk before? I just noticed them after Online being down on Thursday, could be just me.

I completely agree with you on this one. Announced or not announced, if a DLC has been internally delayed or cancelled then it's either delayed or cancelled

They are part of the security upgrade. So if you bought it recently, then no, you didn't have security cameras on your desk before.

Does the adding of extra podium vehicles actually equal a delay in any potential DLC? Surely having the podium and wheel in the Casino would mean that they would continue adding vehicles to the list regardless, otherwise it would just be a dead feature?

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but as far as I know, they technically have nothing to do with each other. I think people just use it as a way to predict when the next update is coming, since R* doesn't like to announce anything until a month, weeks or even days before the update comes out.

I think you have a good point. But as always, it's easy to have wild speculations when there is little to no information to go off of. That's probably why certain YouTubers get away with constantly making GTA 6 videos.

I've been told it's just how many places you've got arcade machines in, which seeing as you can simply buy one of the basic cabinets like Defender of the Faith or Space Monkey 3 and put them in every spot at once, it's a great way to get the full 5k every 48 mins if you only want to buy 1 machine. I can't confirm, I'm that rich I just impulse-bought them all day one.

Only in the sense that buying all machines gives you an award, and arcade awards increase the daily income. But like @Zak Ras says, you can reach the max cap simply by buying the cheapest machine (Monkey's Paradise) and filling every spot in your arcade with it.

Going against my better judgement and getting my 5 large warehouses filled up in a public solo lobby in the hopes next week sees Double $ on Crate Sales... as well as Triple$ on store Hold Ups, c'mon Tunables Guy.

 

Even if not, it'll still make a wonderful addition 185 to the 800-ish source missions I've already done. That Gold Trophy will be mine very soon.

I think that we will not see any kind of info in the independence day. It's too important for americans to not put anything else in that week, for not overshadowing the celebration, even if it's a sh*tty week, it the same vehicles discounts that are from 2014, same with valentines...i'ts too many years without new celebrative content, i would like new underwear for my female character, please. xD

I do everyday for a couple of things. Keep my Popularity up, let the Nightclub Stock, Arcade and NC Safe, Casino Heist (1 or 2 a day), stock my mc business's and sell them, and of course the Daily Objectives and the Casino Wheel. Plus a jo from Ms Baker for casino chips.

Totally go for it, the gold statue is gorgeous , iam in My way to 5000 collects, should be a reward like a gold crate , and a permanent Discount on sourcing crates

Fun or other dataminers: i just did a casino work from Agatha and i received cash but not the 5k chips, i Also cannot Buy chips from cashier it says: "This feature is not available now. Please come back later", there is a chance that Rockstar límited this features due casinos being closed for the pandemic situation?, I live in a country thats has not gambling limitations but currently casinos are closed, iam able still to spin the wheel and play the slots and other games...

 

Any info Will be much appreciated 

 

Edit: did couple more missions and received the 5k chips but still not able to Buy chips, wich sucks

Slightly off topic but since I've not been playing GTA Online since we got the bad event weeks and I've been playing other games instead (Which includes playing through Story Mode for the 4th time aswell as playing GTA 4 for the second time).

As Soon as we get a DLC announcement (or a good event week) then I'll be back on to prepare for the DLC

Ah yes, sometimes it’s good to admire my beautiful purple and green “black combat pants” or the beautifully detailed 3-polygon shoes and shirts. Sh*t, pay me to be QC for Rockstar. I’d be the first in the history of that department to even load up the game, let alone try playing it. Just gimme’ those NOOSE outfits!

I never said the player clothes were good, they’re just better than the PS2-looking NPC stuff
