We've had our generous share of free stuff, discounts and money events. Better release something new to get the players spending again!

(and complaining how everything is too expensive and shark cards are too expensive despite us having discounts every week with a DLC being release only twice a year)

They definitely intimated that more arcade games were a possibility in an interview with one of the devs a few months after DCH released. The dev said they wanted to make an arcade fighter game like Street Fighter but couldn't get it finished in time for DCH. I really hope we get to see that someday, especially if the playable fighters are classic R* characters.. imagine Claude Speed vs. Piggsy, or Jimmy Hopkins Vs. Red Harlow lol.

 

I'm betting they can see how many players own all the arcade games and how much shark card money adding more might bring. Judging by other players arcades I've visited we may not want to get our hopes up. A lot of them only have the game that comes free with the arcade. They could always just charge a couple million for any future arcade cabinets like they did with fan requested niche stuff like the RC Bandito.

Yep, the arcades are cool, but like hlaf of the games are just those first arcade games just some dots, and that's it. Not much funny. (would be if they add a space invader). I can see many previous arcade games from other titles like SA and IV coming back. But in truth, the pvp arcade games are just not there and needs to be in order to the arcades became more interactive. (the only games that you can pvp are the racing game and the cowboy shooting, but even that are just pvp in terms of "which player makes more points".

I wouldn't get my hopes high. Pinball maybe, but a pool table ther'es just not enough space for it (in fact, the arcades are quite tiny) And the underground storage at least don't have the "movability" of the 1st floor where you can add props (the arcade machines). Also, i'm not seeing R* missing the opportunity in giving us another building/bussiness, like a mansion or a coffe shop in order to give us a pool table, bcz they love their paywalls.

Bc those games existed for almost 18 years already, it's just that they ported them into the V engine instead of just being a flash game

From all that was been said here about the arcades, we can conclude that is an unfinished product. Probably bcz they were too busy with the casino heists themselves, so bcz of that they weren't able to do those pvp games that they said in an interview that they want to do. Thinking about that, then those hardcore retro games of the degeneratron aren't new, neither the invade and persuade and the gang wars. So that makes the racing game, the cowboy shooting, the go go space monkey and wizard's ruin, the only new. So, four new games.

I also feel that the love professor, wasabi claw and madam nazar, are there so far, just to give tees and plushies after hundreds of tries.

 

Note: i sent some videogame ideas to the feedback page some time ago. I thimk that we should be proative in the feedback page to have higher chances to see in the game the most wished things from the community.

What're we meant to get next week? Double $ on Crates since the entire CEO Crate Property pipeline is on discount this week and a few more eccentric looking vehicles for free?

Maybe like last 4th july, where everything was double money?

Yeah, I did mean a new building rather than extend the arcade we have now as, like you said, R* gotta have their paywalls, lol. Something like this would be pretty cool IMO...

You know, minigames like basketball, bowling, air hockey, and pool existed in the beta versions of GTA V. They were cut in the final release of GTA V. This cut content would be perfect to include in a potential mansion. Have a 3 or 4 bedroom mansion, with a kitchen and a few baths, a home theater like in our penthouses, an office, and then have an area in the basement with a basketball court, and a side room off the court that has a pool table, and air hockey table. When you buy your mansion, you could have your choice of a bowling alley or a basketball court.

If you're not buying shark cards, you're not a lucrative and valuable player.

 

That being said, mansions with 20+ car garages would probably be big sellers.

 

I think there were hardware issues though at least on current gen consoles. That's probably why the 20-car garages already in the game have a 3-floor layout and sh*tty lighting.

I suspect that this next update is going to hit the wall on what the current-gen consoles (at least in their non-Pro non-X form) can run. If the game isn't at that point already.

Can you imagine how much of a middle finger it would be from R*/T2 if the next DLC is 'Part One' of something... with 'Part Two' (obviously with more awesome content that is only alluded to in P1) available only on the next-gen?

The idea of a cop dlc is very interesting, Rockstar can show more about how LSPD works and hidden facts about corruptions that touch some police units and their alliance with some gangs. 

Just like R* showed us with gta sa .

A police unit lead by anciants "C.R.A.S.H" unit members, with "heist like" missions , the police uniforms that players can wear has "C.R.A.S.H" badges for making a difference between the other cops, The ability to register as a "corrupted cop" and choosing your unit outfits like ceos and mcs. 

We are still criminals behind our uniform, making the player that can rule the streets like tenpenny, adding "police jobs" with DEA style mission, criminals transfer "driving the prison bus to Bolingbroke" ,more criminals we have, more we won money (exactly like crates),Vigilante jobs and more.

Without being too much "role play" .

 

We worked for Securoserv for helping corrupted judges and and we work with agent 14 , a corrupted secret agent (Idk if he works for IAA or FIB) , so the dlc make sence. 

 

But we hope these rumors are real and R* don't be cocky to delayed it because of last real life events (video games should be neutral from politics" .

 

And its unofficial so maybe we will never know the truth, like some deleted things from the prototype of gta online..

Rockstar should modify the feedback system, making all ideas readable for everyone, adding a voting system and sending comments  for creating debates, making it as a forum. 

We need "community updates" like some video games companies did for their fanbases, just one community dlc a year minimum, if they want to keep GTO alive for the coming gen (ps5,xbox serie X,PC 2). 

 

All last dlcs were "okay" , Arena Wars is the most disapointing dlc .

Nobody asked for this except Rockstar's leadership. 

 

Vehicles are extremely overpriced for their performances and we need a garage to custom them , maxed these vehicles cost more than 1m dollars, a pure cash grab this dlc.. and worth nothing for pvps and pves situations. 

Only for Arena Wars modes. 

 

Cash grab dlcs is what players are tired from this game and this is why "milking" and "sharkcards" memes are very popular (intensified with the re-re-release of gta 5 lol).
