Here's my Wednesday pre-Event Week Hype;

 

- Honestly, If they don't add vehicles to the podium list tomorrow, I'll be flabbergasted, normally they make additions when they still have a bit of breathing room but THE hope I have is that the next addition (even if it comes next week or even the week after next) will also be the final addition to the podium prior to the next major update.

 

- If the Scramjet & Deathbike are up next with the Sovereign on July 2nd, I'm hoping those event weeks will have something rare (3x$ Store Hold Ups, c'mon Rockstar let's see it happen), since those vehicles are also, pretty high demand outside of the Oppressor Mk2 and Deluxo.

 

- Rockstar should go back to doing those Newswire posts where they actually talk to us, rather than advertise to us. Stuff the like Post-Heist DLC FAQ's, and the announcement of OWR's that came with the record populationg numbers self congratulatory newswire after the Casino Heist.

 

- Outside of the Oppressor, Deluxo, Half-Track, Scramjet, Stromberg what other weaponized vehicles have been on the podium? Cause I've just realized, they could never put vehicles that require a certain property to store them on the podium, like the Thruster or Special Vehicles. Unless the game is accidentally coded in such a way where you can be gifted those vehicles and they'll be magically waiting for you to purchase the property the belong in. Because when it comes to the podium, have they ever made an addition and at the same time, put a vehicle from the additions onto the podium? Can they do that? And what about Pegasus Vehicles can they add those since they don't require personal storage?

 

- Summer 2018 & 19 didn't really have anything after their releases, so it'll interesting to see how the OWR Creator and (hopefully) Ron's extra missions play out across Late Summer/Early Autumn. I was thinking about Ron as well, and how he technically made the call to Lester to set up Series A, but we've never actually seen Ron & Lester together, that's a small hope I have for Doomsday 2, seeing Ron and Lester banter about government conspiracies, secret societies and aliens together in cutscenes and mission dialogue.

 

- Survivals, Store Hold Up's, Time Trials, Deathmatches, Captures, themed Contact Missions, rather than just character X's set of missions, stuff like Anti-Merryweather, missions surrounding drugs + Last Play. If Rockstar threw in that list of activities from time to time, rather than sticking strictly to; "Business A is doubled" "Adversary Mode B is doubled" "Freemode Challenge C is doubled", that would be the shake up the Events Weeks are kinda needing, that way GTA Online can be... fun, rather than simply being, "which weeks are good weeks to grind"?

Of course I hope we get an announcement, it would already be a week later than when we got our first social media post about the DC&R, apparently this DLC isn’t going to have as much hype as that one and or is going to be released a lot later than what they normally do in the summer.

Who knows anymore. We’d better because rockstar needs to do something I don’t think they’ve gone this long without announcing or even slightly teasing a DLC

Agreed & Fun has been completely radio silent about the theme of the next DLC too. Even though he's hinted at Cops & Crooks, he's not actually said that the next DLC will be C&C

You think? After all, Red Dead is surely due an update of it's own? Moonshiners back in December, they can't just end on that, surely?

 

What does have me curious is how they're gonna deal with the negative reaction to GTA 5 Next-Gen, if at all.

 

I'm holding back on my opinion of that because I need to see how things play out in the near future, but how quick are we gonna start seeing newswire posts about what Next Gen will offer as the main incentive other than likely simply being up to snuff with the PC release. If they don't strike the iron while it's hot, then that is the biggest sign they're simply releasing it because they know there people and kids who'll simply buy it because it exists. But at the same time... it isn't releasing until the later half of 2021. Why announce it over a year in advance when, for comparison, the Current Gen re-release was announced 5 months before release?

 

Did Sony's marketing team seriously think that while they HAVE entered into a partnership with Rockstar, having a 2 generation old game open the showcase for the newer console was the best idea?

Don't think Fun has... Yan "hinted at C&C" and Mach followed suit immediately after.

Fun has discussed the potential of introducing new races centered around more vehicles that can be customized with performance altering body parts after the release of OWR... and he wished for a Go-Kart.

Scotland is getting a Government announcement about Phase 2 of exiting lockdown on Thursday afternoon. I will not pretend to know which studio calls the shots over the release of Newswires, New York or Edinburgh, but even if our government announces they're releasing a bunch of restrictions at a set date where people can start returning to work, I don't know if Rockstar North will take that into account and use the opportunity to drop info they've been sitting on mere hours later or wait a little longer, until they know what is happening with New York in general.

 

EDIT: From what I can find from a quick search is New York CITY is also moving into their own Phase 2 on Monday with their plan already released.

 

I'm just letting you guys know this in case of the VERY specific scenario of Thursdays Newswire running late (4pm-ish UK Time regular release time). Tunables and the podium list will be the first port of call for us all.

Make em slightly bigger and make the sidewall somewhere between original tuner and sport. I would actually go for those wheels then

It seems like we should get one tomorrow, should have gotten one last Thursday (I know the Sony announcement) but if it was anything like last year, we would already know the topic by now.  It must not be a DLC to get excited or hyped for. That or we’re not getting it until August.

Yep, if Rockstar doesn't announce a DLC in June, it could mean we're getting a DLC in July. On the other hand, it could also mean we aren't getting a DLC in July.

I hope Rockstar add Police cars to Warstock and their outfits to clothing stores. 

Without playing as a cop, like we have gruppe sechs stockade and outfits but we are not Bank employee. 

And why they removed the LSPD Buffalo (policecruiser2) ? 

Its the best looking police car from the game , this thing should return !

And we need the paramedic outfit, the scientist with mask (to be accurate with real life events lol), USMC outfits (soldiers and officers), and the colored jogger pants (with camos variants), colored helmets and colored bulletproof vest. 

 

Some NPCs cars have green tinted Windows , we players should able to putting green windows to our cars.

 

The cargo plane, tow trucks, car trailer for trucks, sp submarine , ruiner 2000 wreck , skylift are forgotten vehicles ..

 

All these stuff are actually in the game,so R* don't need a long work..
