We shouldnt expect a dlc in june, gtao hasnt even had a june dlc in a few years.

 

"If" it hasnt been pushed back. Mid July would be the best guess probably around the same time as the casino dlc.

The podium (if you don't include the vehicles that have been on the list since the Casino or Heist updates as well as the R88 being added with the OWR), will conclude on July 2nd (Independence Day Event Week), most likely with the Sovereign, with the Scramjet & Apocalypse Deathbike being released between now and then.

 

Translation; As of RIGHT NOW, the next update is scheduled for July 9th... but I'm not getting my hopes up, I'm expecting addition(s) to be made to the list on Thursday which kills any hope for July 9th.

Basically put, from July 9th to July 30th is the main timeline to expect the DLC if i'm correct

Nah. Not really...Paul brothers? Who? xD Torture is just a bad thing, not to mention is something twisted as f*ck by itself, the deal with torture that was a common practice centuries ago (yet, still used sometimes) is that is pure bullsh*t, bcz if a innocent person was being tortured to confess a crime that he/she did not commit that person would confess something that didn't do just to stop being tortured, that's why it was abolished, bcz it didn't help in fact to solve any crimes or find true or false guilts. It was, it's just that I think it was thrown in in the last update to the list so it wasn't up for very long, as I remember Fun letting us know then checking out its price and what update it came with myself on Legendary Motorsport.

But I wouldn't really use the podium list as an indicator for when the next DLC comes out, because Rockstar can add to the list any time they want.

Before it used to be qabeta.

 

Now it is qabeta2 and 3. 

 

qabeta2 is usually the main indicator I believe.

They've been updating this almost every day for the past few weeks/months, so it's not that special. When qabeta2 gets updated then we can get excited.

It is random at times but it is updated more frequently than the 2.

Yes I get it, they are updating it almost every day which means they are working actively on it and that's good.

I think they may have had loose plans to add LC for GTAO but scrapped it early on. Either that or LC may feature as a location in VI be it a short visit similar to the Marco's Bistro mission from SA or maybe even a permanent location available to visit. That would be awesome IMO, I miss LC so much that I may have to buy a 360/XB1 so I can replay IV.

Idk dude...seems to me that if they dont implement great things as content exclusive for the next gen consoles, and i mean in a way that the old gen will stop get updates, i don't see how people will buy the game for a 3rd or 4th time. So, a map expansion would be quite essential for that. But of course that, many people would still buy the new versions if the next dlc's only would/will bring new vehicles and bussinesses. But at least i hope that R* if it's getting the opportunity of many dlc's with better quality bcz the new system i hope they take that opportunity and not lay down with the easy profit of shark cards that just a couple of new vehicles can get them.

I think there is zero chance of a map expansion on the scale of LC. I mean, do you really think they'd go to that trouble when they can sell a remastered IV at some point down the line? Do you think they'll create SF or LV from whole cloth? That's insane. Even spiffing up an area as small as Yankton seems pointless due to how small it is (as much as I would love any of the above). It's not gonna happen IMO.

 

I think the biggest incentives to upgrade will be long requested cars and guns as well as overpowered Oppressor tier garbagio to entice the stupid kiddies. Graphical enhancements will put the 9th gem upgrade on pat with current PC, which isn't that much of an enhancement imo.

That's assuming they actually want people to "buy" the game again. It's still unclear whether the next-gen versions will be a free upgrade for those who already own it on Xbox One or PS4 and use backwards compatibility.

Well...actually i do think that's possible do a LC map for V (Online) rather a remastered version of IV. Bcz, people play a lot more online than SP. So, they would buy again a remastered version of GTA IV just for SP? Bcz, you can't even put in the table the fact htat IV's online was just (or it felt like) a water testing for V's online. So yep. The city is there, just need polishment for the current GTA Online.
Also i never understood what north yanton had such of greatness. The map was barely polished and only worked for the epilogue of the SP.

Huh, that would be a dream come-true. But the list of podium vehicles had the Sovereign motorcycle added to it some time ago, so we are likely to get that during Independence week.

I always wonder why it can't be done. I mean, at least for this gen ok...no. Fine. But next gen? Yep. It's a must. I think the current gen is being the thing that holds the PC to have dlc's with a better quality. Bcz the PS5 for goo as it can be it will not be a PC. So, to me we will see the best dlc's in the last 2-3 years of GTA Online from the current version.
I had a discussion with a friend about animals in online and he's always telling that: "you know, it's not a problem of being too huge for current gen consoles handle it, but it's because the problem that would appear with animals to me and for you, like, the npc animal needed to be in the same spot and do the same movement to me as to you." And i'm like: "i don't think that would be a problem for nexdt gen or even for this one, like...doesn't they have a linear and scripted way and route to walk? And it's not even like that would be such a huge thing if that's a real issue, RDR 2 suffers from it and they have animals in online.
