I'm assuming the "Spying on Strangers" ability was repurposed to the Weasel News channel on TVs which allows us to spectate players? That's the only thing I could think of unless it was meant for something else entirely.

Anyone else slightly worried that GTA6 is gonna launch sans mutiplayer and GTAO will become this thing on its own? A 2013 game running a map optimised for vehicles that can't fly accompanied by 1500 hotfix scripts?

That's the Nightmare version with the Redwood livery. The Apocalpyse version in stock form has no rust. The Future Shock version has some weird parts that I personally don't like but a clean stock version can be made of it as well.

Yes, Rockstar probably learned from their mistake of releasing RDR2 with a very bare-bones Online.

 

So I can see GTA 6 releasing either without an Online version at first, or with one that is supported for a while along with the current GTA Online. Like I said earlier, it should technically be possible to share a lot of resources in developing DLCs for both, once the current Online version had its "next gen" update.

But if Yan is to be believed, he has since said that it's not coming due to the current IRL issues. We have already had T2 show support to the BLM cause and that leaves me thinking they'll not want a taboo theme just now at least.

Haha, I think you guys might need to read the twitter replies and do a little searching. That artwork was posted by an ex-Rockstar senior illustrator in relation to the BLM protests, Yan just stitched it up and removed the original text because they had posted it in two separate Instagram Stories. They mentioned it was unreleased, from the original game, Yan didn't leak that and there's no relation to the supposed C&C DLC.

Well, that was actually achieved with the Doomsday Heist, but the Casino Heist expanded on it. They already hinted at how much complexity and customisation they could offer in the Survival creator, which is impressively flexible and layered.

Hypothetically seeing as though Rockstar still haven't announced any plans for RDO (which has been their priority over GTAO since the start) I wonder if we'll get a summer DLC, or at this point a midway September DLC will just cut it and then see you in March or something

Personally I think they'll add Guarma to RDO at some point, probably expanding on all the roles while they do it. If that were the case RDO could totally steal the spotlight for the summer.

 

Then again, is RDO anywhere near as profitable as GTAO? Money and gold glitches were absolutely insane on consoles and Rockstar just couldn't keep up, or even really ban/wipe accounts. And they have to give all the new Epic players a reason to buy shark cards while the game is still fresh to them.

People are here to voice their opinions though, I find the overall meltdown to be silly but there are people here with valid criticism towards what Rockstar is doing, even though it is all based on assumptions since Rockstar themselves weren't clear with their words.

Why haven’t Yan and Fun given us hints this obvious for the other DLCs? I can’t help but think they’re both eagerly awaiting the announcement of the next DLC to see how we all got played. Maybe I’m too cynical.

I hope that is the case since it means we WILL get some sort of DLC.
