Casino Heist Finale has set the bar of what a GTA Online mission can be. No fail state and essentially being 2 different stealth missions that can default to a third combat mission if stealth fails, as well as giving the player free range to take whatever entrance or exit they like, even if it's not the one they originally chose, and giving them the freedom to escape anyway they like.

 

The problem with the setup missions is that while they are exactly the same mentality from Story Mode they come with all the faults of Online... most of the Preps are nothing but Supply Runs. Some are interesting like Security Intel & Patrol Routes but the rest are essentially; grab two items out in the open halfway across the map then bring them back. There's one other thing that is lost with making all the preps a Supply Run in freeroam and not closed lobby missions; Mastermind & Loyalty Challenges. If they could somehow design a Heist with Setup missions like the originals, but had the freedom of the Casino Finale and making only a few of them mandatory and the rest optional but helpful, that would at least leave the door open for another proper mastermind Challenge, unlike the Casino Heist where it was just the Finale with Mastermind rules minus the loyalty... and certainly not the Doomsday one where they foolishly split the challenge up depending on player count and didn't even make them add up to the original $10m.

this is another case of R* logic, you can sell a full large warehouse using 1-2 brickades but somehow it cant store more then 1 crate when collecting them, this is bs and should be changed.

 

You could not explain that better ;)

To be fair patching the 3 crates in avenger was unfair. So we have to collect cargo, and we can own a vehicle with a cargo hold. Was no surprise players would try and put cargo in a vehicle with a cargo hold. Or they could allow us to pay for an upgrade to store 3 in the avenger. Be better than it being patched forever. 

 

How about making setups and a finale that doesn't require you to lose the cops for every single one of them? Losing the cops for a mission to be finish-able is not fun. Than you have that mission with the Sasquatch where they made sure you got the cops if you hit any damned vehicle...

Yeah i know we have the prison break heist but what if they expand on the jail somehow?(the jail doesn't have any interiors if you exclude the towers)

 

Hope it was never cops and crooks so it doesnt get scrapped.

We’ve already talked about this before, and everyone kinda made me sound dumb for thinking we would have something like that when I mentioned using the interiors.

I hated the original setup missions for heist, you have to have 4 players and it isn’t in free roam so if people leave it instantly cancels it.  I think that is the worst setup ever.

At the very least, the Zancudo UFO when it's not being tested.

If they were to do that I would suggest doing 2-3 big setups, as in it takes half an hour minimum, cutscenes, etc. That way the setups are substantial and challenging but don't add too many loading screens.

Oh absolutely, I should've said, "like the originals without a mandatory minimum player count". Prime examples;

We should be able to go solo with the crew we hired, yet they sit around and eat 25% of the pie!

 

I'd like the option to go solo, some randums I've encountered make me just want to bash my head against the wall repeatedly over their stupidity. "Oh, he's not leaving the vault. HUUURRRRR It must be safe, time to run around like a headless chicken inside of it even though the leader is clearly coming out with the last bar of gold!"

That's the cap for the casino heist.

 

You can get $2.222 million * 2 * 1.29 =~ $5.733 for a large warehouse sale.

 

The most I personally got for one was $5.555 million with 25 other people in the session. (Tug boat + ghost org; the session never saw me do a sale.)

R*, or at least the people in charge of GTAO’s content, really can’t think beyond the basic ‘shoot through crowd of goons, then escape’ mindset. It’s always been a bit of a recurring theme in GTA’s mission structure, but has gone into maximum overdrive with Online. There’s plenty of other ways that we could and should be able to approach things, and there’s plenty of different gameplay options the setting and genre lends itself to. Why not stalking targets? They bothered to try and implement a stealth aspect, so use that more. Why not more car chases? The entire franchise is centred around cars, after all. Why not cop AVOIDANCE? I can think of maybe 3 times where they use that sort of approach. 

They add melee weapons and suppressors and all sorts of things that we could use for a more open-ended approach to even the basic shooting missions, yet rarely are we allowed to use any real problem-solving skills. They should play some older AssCreed games and Sniper Elite to get an idea on what they can do with on-foot stuff, and play Driver 1-2 and Midnight Club to get a clue on driving-related content.

For Criminal, we already have a few titles:

-CEO

-MC President

 

For the next DLC, we could become cops, the opposite of the criminal with these titles:
-Police Chief

-Federal Agent

I can't even begin to count the amount of times Deliver EMP has failed because of some retard who is either (a) an obnoxious child, (b) a know-it-all who doesn't speak English, or (c) a f*cking Neanderthal with no mic who refuses to listen when the rest of us are SCREAMING for the moron to back it the f*ck up and let the professionals do their thing.

Personally, I don't get this obsession with a police DLC in GTA Online, but it's not the worst idea anyone's ever had.

 

The Oppressors, K/D ratio, MKII weapons, and 4-player heist requirements. THOSE are all sh*tty ideas that should've never been implemented.

I actually really like the MK2 weapons but they could’ve definitely been implemented in better ways. But all the added customization and features and ammo is great, they just need to add it to more guns. Everything else I agree with though.

The Casino Heist is crazy, I meant the effort that went into it. When you think back to the original heists that were released years ago, they were merely a bunch of setup missions and a finale, but now a Heist can have several parts linked together labelled with codenames, the game transfer you from one part to another. You see it happening when you enter the pathway to the Casino Vault, same thing when you exit from it.

Well, that was actually achieved with the Doomsday Heist, but the Casino Heist expanded on it. From what I remember, they did that to the Doomsday Scenario as I think it was big enough to be separated into two parts. You load the second part when you enter the mountain. Anyway, my point is that Rockstar used that function from a while ago to come up with the Casino Heist and brought us "the biggest, most audacious, most complex criminal operation" as said by Rockstar.

Now imagine if Rockstar would give us the Mission Creator with such functionality, to create a main mission and two side missions where you would play either one of them depending on your actions in the main mission. Heck, Rockstar could create story missions with such functionality, I mean does it always have to be a heist that make usage of such features?

It would be cool to see such complexity, on the same level of the Casino Heist, brought in the form of story missions in a new DLC where your actions decide which faction you join, and of course you can always betray that faction to join another as in the form of "praising repeatability and variety".

It will be called the Xbone XXX at that point. The next box is the Xbone X X :D Microsoft needs to learn how to count. They have the Xbox, 360, 1, X aka 10, XX aka 20. Their number system is more broken than Tennis.

i still have hope in them releasing a remaster of of gta 4, i had so much fun in that one, loved everything about that game...well except the damn trophy for killing 200 flying rats 😂

its not a bad idea, now lets try to think of what features/abilities we could get with this titles.

 

ceo gave us stuff like ghost org and spawn vehicles next to you, what perks can we get by becoming chief or agent.

Police chief could give you the ability call a police squad for backup in contact missions, gang attacks or similar situations.

 

Federal agent could grant a longer period of immunity or a quicker way to call off the police from chasing you.

I'm surprised the Slamvan wasn't cut though. That thing is total garbage in the arena, and trying to make clean version of it didn't turn out that well for me either. (I own "clean" versions --or at least minimally armored/armed ones-- of the Deathbike, Issi, Sasquatch, and Impaler. In the past also an Imperator and ZR380.)

Can you post a pic of your clean Sasquatch? That’s the only car I don’t have a clean version of

5.55 millions are the max you can make of it. 

 

As the "other players bonus" has a cap at 25 (percent/players)
