Gta sa: Any method to remove or nerf the police helicopter.

Is there a way to tone down the time limit spawn for the police helicopter, it keeps coming every 15-30 second and it becomes more of a chore to just mow it down with the mini gun since it's difficult to take it down with other weapons due to the nature of the cops and heli (also its 400kg of c4 when its gets taken down). I don't mind removing the helicopter from the files in order to prevent it from spawning but removing it causes the audio to break. Any ideas?

MixSets has some options:

NoCopHeliShots       = 0        # (0|1)  Police helicopters don't shoot you.
RandomHeliFireTime   = -1       # (0.15) Time randomizer for the helicopter to shoot you. The higher the number, the more rarely it will shoot.

Use Wanted Level Editor.

Mod settings are split by cities and/or stars so for each star and/or city you can have:

cop_helicopter_respawn_time //  15000 ms by default (15 seconds)
helicopter_arrival_time //  depends on the wanted star
max_helicopters //  when set to 0 there will be no police helicopters

You can also use the mod menu (for San Andreas only) which can make things quicker and easier - just choose the city you're in and/or wanted star you have.
