I think this glitch has been the eye opener for Rockstar (despite being many previous related glitches) and quite frankly, they aren't having any more of it.

There's no way someone would earn one million chips legitimately in one day, I mean it's possible but consider the RNG and the boredom you would get from staying all day in the casino, most people thought Rockstar won't do such unexpected thing after years of not punishing glitchers in extreme cases like this.

Rockstar isn't playing this time, and to be fair with you, a glitch like that was obviously dangerous to do.

 

Now, to the Rockstar Logic out of this, the glitch is still unpatched.

Because they Cant patched it via background Update they need a complete Downloadable Update to Patch it and I dont think they will release a small update just to patch it they are soo lazy , They will wait untill the next update to patch it aka lazy developers

@GTAJJ, could it be that instead of how much people took, but if they kept the cash/chips, they get wipes but if they bought bonds and a large amount of property that they get the full ban?

 

Maybe R* caught on to that as it's a bit of a no brainer for anyone with a bit of common sense to launder the cash. 

Hahahah They are lazy in patching the glitch also they are lazy in wiping people accounts or reset their accounts me & All my friends that did this glitch still have billions & Trillions we will see in the upcoming days if they will wipe or ban us or they are lazy too

A nice stash indeed. I'm gonna hit $120m this week and delighted at how casual I've been playing since the casino and heist arrived while cleaning up.

 

The lad's about to hit $20m too, which for a 15 year old, I'm quite impressed by his restraint on spending too given they toys out there. His mates are a bit jealous though so I'm making sure he doesn't boast, too much at least.

If what I've read about R* using automated ways to detect things before, it could be set up that if anyone in the immediate future do this trip themselves up too.

I’ve taken a 15 year old under my wing of late...he’s got 40m now...he says his mates think he’s cheated.

 

We actually have done silent and sneaky and BC Elite Challenges...just need to do aggressive now on both characters.

 

Last week was good for me...46m from 9 large warehouses sold in public with him watching my back.

Ahh, good luck on the elite there. I love those challenges and along with the CMM's, easily my favourite aspects. I was delighted when my lil' man did the 2 player DDH CMM with me. A very memorable day!

For everyone who got banned or money wiped Me & My friends still Have our money we disnt get ban or even a Money wipe ,so if they are done so we are safe if there will be another wave in the upcoming days we will see but its not fair .... They ban & reset accounts while others still have the money

Not on any of my runs. Luckily I found some of the great heist guys on here and had great help for the 4 player stuff. Though I did once when helping a couple other forum guys on their original CMM as we had a helicopter bug out and spawn on top of the prison airplane escape and it blew that up, lol. Crazy game.

Here I am... With like $50K liquid in my account. I never understood the purpose of cheating in this game.. I made the bulk of my worth from Rooftop Rumble. Also developed my skills & some solid team building. 2-4 hours a night for like 3 months. Short term wasn't much...but long term, still beneficial 6 years later... Friendships became legitimate also. If I need money, I just go earn it.. It's really not hard, especially when they give SO MUCH away.... People always talk shark cards & high prices yet fail to mention all the cash handouts, every single week for years has been a different 2x$ event, they've given cars, tanks, offices, weapons, clothes, etc.. How much more player friendly do they have to make the game before people stop cheating? For crying out loud, they've done 2x heists multiple times..

I just had a read through some posts on 'The Sinful Place'. 

Some tasty salt to be sure, but certainly some inconsistency regarding whether accounts are partially adjusted (leaving property and cash), completely cash-wiped, or entirely reset. 

This doesn't seem to be over in any case. Or at least I hope the wave will continue for a few days, just to wheedle out the glitchers… even if there's nothing stopping them from doing their glitches again, of course! 

 

Fix. 

Your game. 

Rockstar.

Good thing I only did the Bogdan glitch then. No one's ever been detected doing that.

edit: maybe some people got put into bad sport for quitting too many jobs, I just mean no one got money wiped or banned.

I haven't done this, but I would consider that along the same lines as a mission playlist because you still have to actually successfully begin & complete the job as it was intended. Unless I'm wrong.

Its not really a "glitch" its one person leaves right before the final cut screen so you still have to complete the whole damn mission and do everything as intended..

I’ve been exploiting the casino for months now but my money is still there. I didn’t do the recent SP-MP chip glitch though. I have about 50 mil in winnings so I don’t think it’s that suspicious just yet.

This is hilarious. I would hope it’s only inexperienced players that did this glitch because any seasoned GTA player should know to stay away from these type of glitches. They make you earn money way too quick (remember the Lester airport glitch), and they’re too hot to go under the R* radar.

 

Can’t say I feel sorry for anyone that had their account wiped because they should’ve known better.

That's how they got people, checking if they had the income as "bet winnings" instead of coming from nowhere.

I sold $500 million worth of Issi's. And knock on wood, R* has no idea I did it. I even got caught selling them and had my personal plates taken away, and nothing happened. I even got my plates back later on. 

 

I cannot possibly imagine spending that much time in the casino to do whatever glitch this was, because I imagine it was very slow. 90% of the glitches in this game are just overkill on the boring meter and payouts.
