Wrong again. I played legit and earned 20+ million before glitching also I made 30 million from my bunker while being a glitcher.

Again making assumptions. Plenty of glitchers do play DM, LTS, missions etc and glitch because they don't pay out enough to actually be able to afford everything without playing 10+ hours again.

I never said glitchers don't destroy cargo. People who glitch destory cargo, people who grind destroy cargo, people who buys sharkcards destroy cargo, people who have been playing since 2013 and only play 5 hours a month destroy cargo.

You are wrong but good for you for sticking with that bullsh*t number.

You don't know who glitches their money and who doesn't.

No I'm not.

Judging by your posts the only thing we are going to agree on is that Rockstar needs to fix their game. They need to make it less exploitable, the prices need to go down, and the payouts for contact missions and races need to be massively increased.

Outside of that we're going to have to agree to disagree.

When did I say that? It's your game and account, play it as you wish.

Just know that if you cheat I'll be hoping you get banned.

wishing people get banned because they do something that doesn't affect you doesn't line up with letting people play how they wish to. 🧐

Whether we glitch, cheat or grind, we're mostly all the same as not many of us want to buy shark cards.

Shark cards (especially at their current price) are an absolute waste of money.

If it ever got that bad I would glitch LONG before I'd buy a Shark Card.

I do agree with all that. If playing missions, LTS, DM, AM etc all payed out the same as all the businesses and prices went down I would have no need to glitch as I could play anything I wanted while still having the money to buy whatever I want.

Also for people that think glitchers are lazy and all about griefing without actually playing the game I am a glitcher and I have made 30 million from my bunker alone.

To put things into perspective with the current shark card prices in would cost you 100 real life dollars just to get a MK2 with missiles.

That is absolutely ridiculous and indefensible.

I never venture into populated public lobbies, when I do grind (yes I sporadically grind for fun even though I have glitched money), I'm always solo.

And when I'm not grinding, I'm still solo. Because I want to be left the hell alone. Driving the Hellfire to the pier for a look at the sunset. Ain't nothing better. This is what GTA was all about for me. The immersion in their impeccable world.

I once looked up to this developer as one of the best in the business. I was just a young boy when I first played GTA III (admittedly not the wisest decision from my parents) and was amazed by how much freedom you could have in the game. You could do what you wanted, when you wanted, no questions asked. Your only constraint was your imagination and creativity basically. I kept expecting Rockstar to bring their games to the next level - and they never disappointed.

...until GTA V.

I was calling out Rockstar's bullsh*t game mechanics and mission design for GTA Online more than half a decade ago and some folk thought I was being too harsh. And most of them now realize why I was saying this back then. I expected better from Rockstar than to cater to tryhards and young teenagers. They used to be the anti-thesis of EA - they made the best singleplayers and spared no expense.

We all know GTA VI's singleplayer experience will be left in the humongous shadow of GTA Online 2.0, and the latter will be made even grindier and push you towards microtransactions even more.

I know Rockstar hates my guts. And I am damn happy to know that. They want me to play the game by their rules - to grind, not when I want to, but because I have to or to give in to their little scheme and pay up their Sharkcards. But that's never gonna happen. I'll do neither.

I'd gladly pay up for DLC ala Episodes From Liberty City or Undead Nightmare but that won't happen either. It would make them money, but not all the money. Which is clearly their endeavor since 2013.

Problem is there are a lot of people that will pay that money. I know there are a lot of people that put thouands into free to play games. I've even seen people putting in over 20k to FTP games.

Have you ever had a conversation with a 13 year old...let alone try to explain a precise timing set of instructions to one? A large percentage of them cannot even do half the glitches with a step by step youtube video which they can rewind.  I have met full functioning adults that cannot even do them.  Have you ever helped someone setup a dupe glitch you have been doing for 3 days...only to have the thing get patched after they have spent 5 million buying everything they need to do it?  A big percentage players just get a $50-100 dollar shark card..it cheaper than sending kids to the movies or damn near any another activity and quicker than even duping in most cases.

I get your point...I am more equating their mindset...it’s not easy of course it shouldn’t be but with the correct approach it’s very doable

I understand how you feel and agree that people that glitch so they can ruin other people's fun in this game is just low but that also goes for people that don't glitch but still grief

I also have to say that it seemed like you thought I was a okay guy and you appreciated my help back when you joined my crew and I changed the colours the times you found a new one you wanted, even tho I probably did some glitches back then 😉 now I might have joined the scum of the earth, virus kind of group you seem to think that everyone that has done a glitch is. I've tried to use some examples of people I know glitch that don't have any more negative impact on anything in the game than grinders have except just the one point that they glitch instead of grinding, they do it to play the game the way they want but they don't ruin anyones gaming experience, except maybe yours just because they glitch.

The reason why I mentioned the thing with the crew colours is so you know there's been one former glitcher that helped getting your gaming experience better 😉

Edit: I've been a little to eager in this thread and if I've come across as a little rude it wasn't my intention and I apologise for that. I tried using some humour in this post but I only have a sense of bad humour so it might not be so easy to detect tho 😊

Yeah you have and even though I did cheat a lot so I can play they way I want I still think cheating is wrong. I've played a lot of games over the last 20 years and this is the only game I have cheated in. Thank you.

The problem is what do you even get out of it? With the current prices anyone that spends 100 real life dollars on GTA should at LEAST get 100 million.

8 million currently doesn't buy you sh*t.

While I agree with you and have for years on that amount, every DLC and I mean every DLC including the next one, the majority of the must have stuff is going to hover around 8 million...I wonder why?

Did I say 100%? No. I said 90%.

That's awesome if you only glitch to hoard cheated cars but know that you're in the minority.

One of my most memorable moments in GTA is when I met a level 12 or so who was very eager to show people his 3 office garages full of very ugly cars. Just a young kid with a modded account and poor taste.

I have a few friends who filled their garages by doing the Bogdan glitch. One friend did Bogdan just so he can fight griefers. ("Protecting lobbies" has actually become quite popular because some of the most well known PvPers pivoted to doing that.) As mentioned earlier, my most active friend plays on a modded account and doesn't fight at all; for her the game is purely social. Another friend with a modded account only logs in once a weekend to buy the new car / play new content when it's available.

So people with glitched/modded money who don't grief aren't rare. I'd say definitely more than 10%. I also don't really believe the idea that "going through the grind" makes one less susceptible to becoming a griefer. I think it's just about the personality someone has.

Hell 100 real life dollars and you STILL can't get close set up your Nightclub with the MCs you need to make money.

There's even a 10 million dollar plane you still won't be able to afford with 100 real life dollars! Judging by real life money that's like a 130 dollar plane.

Also a reason things are so expensive now. People that make videos have no problem buying sharkcards and people that work generally don't have a problem getting a $100 sharkcard every 3 or 6 months for a new and expensive dlc if they don't grind.

Price inflation is inherent to any MMO, whether there's a cheating problem or not. I think money glitching is more comparable to online piracy, meaning glitchers wouldn't play GTA if they couldn't glitch money.

However, I agree that griefers tend to not care about money for various reasons. But there are always exceptions, like people who grief public lobbies but grind in private lobbies. Plenty of money glitchers who don't grief also exist.

Like I said I'm a retired grinder but I actually enjoyed the grind. When I play a game I always aim to understand the system and find the best strategies -- legitimately of course, else it wouldn't be a challenge. I was thrilled when I managed to do 4 bike sales in ~12 minutes with the Bombushka. But it also gets boring after a while.

Anyway, my main point is that I have no hard feelings towards money glitchers or modders, that they can buy all the stuff I "worked hard for", as long as they don't ruin the fun of others.

I forgot his name now but there was a youtuber I use to watch for his GCTF glitch videos and he did every money glitch around to buy and mod every car in the game. I unsubbed to him when he stopped making glitch videos and started streaming but he would stream everyday for hours just giving away cars to anyone that asked for it.

mc biz was added in 2016, night clubs in 2018...for those that didnt play until 2018,,,theres the starter pack, so I fail to see how that matters and would factor into buying a nc, terrorbyte and mk2 at the same time...you consider a gold luxor jet a must have.

He never said the gold luxor is a must have, moreso it's showcasing that it's ridiculous that in some cases 100 dollars isn't enough to buy 1 vehicle.

I'm not talking about each DLC specifically I'm talking about if a new player wanted to buy a shark card now. Especially if they didn't know where to spend it.

They could literally spend 200 hard earned dollars and not get sh*t out of it.

For me if I were to spend 100 real life dollars on a game (after already purchasing the game in the first place) I better have a key to the damn city. My character better have limos to take him places and there better always be a red carpet wherever he walks.

It's 100 dollars for crying out loud.

There is literally a starter pack with garabge stuff in it, but its enough to make a start.  Each DLC's cost for the must have stuff is going to hover around 8mil from that point on.  So, just casually play and R* drops 2 dlcs each year. Expect to drop 200 buckos to get all the latest and greatest stuff...if you are smart about it.  But if you go upgrading your new property buying the most expensive one and getting the most expensive paint job and painting your newest ride 20 times only to find it out its dirt later, that's on you.

https://gta.fandom.com/wiki/Criminal_Enterprise_Starter_Pack

This has everything a future shark card buyer will need.  To be fair, they should have tossed in the low grade yacht painted brown with no light.

Fortunately I don't have to drop any money as I've already grinded and have over 150 million. That still doesn't help if a new player wants to get on this game after all these years and get a shark card to speed up the process. Especially if he/she doesn't know where to spend it.
