Should GTA 6 be more realistic or more arcade?

GTA 6 should 110% be completely realistic and have no arcade elements what so ever.

That would be insanely annoying, one shot and you're likely dead and you see "game over" on screen

Since when have Game Over screens appeared in Grand Theft Auto games?

I'm not a huge fan of Rockstar trying to be more "realistic". I found those attempts at realism in RDR2 had a tendency to break my immersion in the world rather than enhance it.

Whatever they do next I'd like to see them start with one, cohesive vision for what the game should be and stick to it. The bigger the games get, the less consistent they feel. For instance, during shootouts the game feels very much like a linear arcade shooter, when on foot things get "realistic" to the point that your character can trip and fall, and driving doesn't feel like they're going for arcade or simulation but instead they're own more "cinematic" style.

The shooting and the driving work together the best as they're both a bit over the top and stylized but the weighty, almost tedious on-foot controls almost feel like they belong in a different game. It's kind of jarring how inconsistent it is with the rest of the game.

I'd like to see them double down on the cinematic style of driving and apply that to all facets of the game.

I don't think GTA games are supposed to be "realistic". Should definitely not include flying bikes and overpowered weapons in online though but sadly, that's never gonna happen.

I hope it has the quickness of 3 and Vice City and features of SA and the Stories.

Realistic. GTA has been getting more and more realistic over the games. I want to see goosepimples on my character's skin when she gets out of the water. Along with water droplets, streaming water, sweat when applicable.

I prefer arcade style, played a bit of san Andreas a while ago and had a lot more fun with the driving in that game for a few minuets than I've ever had in gtav.

I have said this already hundred times lol,,,,, but yeah,

realistic as possible in my opinion. Like rdr2. Realistic weapon carrying so no magic pockets with hundred guns.

Basically everything from rdr2 but more modern equivalent obviously.

Some one said it would suck if you lost your guns after car gets destroyed,,,

,,,,but what if it was so that the guns stored in trunk of car were allways in a duffelbag in the trunk. So if the car explodes the dufflebag kind of just flies out of the trunk to the ground where you can then pick it up (like the saddle of dead horse in rdr2). And the duffelbag could allways be carried too if you wanted so if you wanted to have all guns with you, you could take the heavy bag with you, but it would make you slower.

I never played any HD time episode but an arcade gaming like in San Andreas would be great.

Indeed. It'd make the game more tactical and grounded, which will then enhance the immersion factor. It's my most-wanted change for Grand Theft Auto, that is, to adopt and improve upon the inventory system of Redemption 2. I've started to outgrow the casual/traditional system following the release of 2010's Redemption.

gta 6 just needs common sense when it comes to realism and arcade, just like RD2.

Both. But realism should visually prevail. Arcade stuff should be a layer under the realism.

Realistic doesn't have to mean lack of fun. Realistic physics, realistic driving etc... yes, yes, yes. Does that mean I don't want Ambulance missions or other side activities? No. Make them optional. Basically the let the player have the choice.

GTA IV's driving is much more fun to play and role play than GTA V's, in my opinion. It's not perfect but its looks realistic. V's driving is extremely arcade. Like they couldn't find a balance between IV and V.

But also, don't let realism get in the way of a good set-piece. A good mission. If they can creatively come up with a good justification for something that's a bit leftfield and a little unbelievable, that's fine. Rockstar are usually good at that.

Keep the surreal side missions and collectibles in the game. Don't make the mandatory. So if one feels like playing a serious, realistic game, they can. And those that like to partake in fun, weird side-missions they can.

They should go full RDR2 with the next GTA. A story that’s compelling and hits like a spear to the heart. And for the love of god have the same clothing system as RDR2. And the gun system from Max Payne 3.

A bit more realistic (especially in the driving physics), but not as much as RDR2.

I think they should do a mix of RDRII and GTA IV

mix of both ofc, but i would like to see more realism

but then again, realism dont go well with online and microtransactions soo, the game will be probably more of an arcade game

I would very much like GTA6 to have "Grand Turismo Sport" vehicle physics and movement physics like battlefield in the first person mode.
I would like GTA6 to pretty music import the entire next grand turismo game into its game world and use all GTA worlds for racing tracks.

Also, GTA6 should bring back all the main characters before gta5 and put them in a gta5 like setting where you get to play as all of them in a bigger story involving more than one sandbox island. and ultimately you have to achieve a term in the white house as all characters without getting beaten by donald trump!

realistic but not too much. I dont want cops to respond for crossing a red light just like the mafia 2

or else it will kill gta 6
