(kinda off topic ) how do you get the motivation to do cleo modding?

modding can be fun, but i just keep raging at making cleo scripts (something more complex like gang mods) and rage at the errors and crashes, it feels like I am making history by getting/making errors no one on this planet knows about, how do you get the motivation to do cleo modding?

Hi! you probably haven't noticed but you already have the inspiration for modding, otherwise you wouldn't be even thinking about modding itself nor even being here. Your real question seems to be "how to properly make mods?" and if that's the case, I could suggest you starting from the bottom, learn the basics from the available resources, like ZAZ' CLEO Tutorial, familiarize with the Opcode Database, do some reverse engineering, error and trial is key. In the blink of an eye you will be an expert, it all depends on how deeply you want to achieve your initial goal:

Yeah it's broken due to server update a few years ago. There's also an access to ZAZ cleo script tutorial from their website which it has correct structure of codes.
