Didn’t get double money payment for selling Large warehouse

Does anyone know why I didn’t get the double money payout for selling a large warehouse, as you can see from the 2 screenshots that o will provide below, it said on my laptop in my warehouse $4,440,000, but when I finished the sale I only got paid $2,220,000. Not sure why has happened as I’ve never had this problem before.

Going by your bank, I don't think it really matters lol

Massive props to the special cargo dedication though!

@Christopher69B Allow me to ask, you have 2.5B, why do you keep grinding these annoying missions ? given the amount of sales you've made, its it clear that you've done the same sourcing missions hundreds of times over and over again, what motivates you to do them again ?

Why is the lifetime earning negative, money cap or something?

Gotta be another one of R* shenanigans... On PC you sometimes don't get paid at all because it gives you a transaction error. I suggest you open a ticket on the support website if you care enough about the money.

That’s what I already did around 10 hours ago. And included the screenshots of it happening, until I know this is not going happen again I will not be selling my other 4 warehouses.

This is something I'd like to know as well.

Personally, I think we should all get back to killing each other. This package donkey simulator that the game has become is a snoozefest. I miss the competitive feel the game had on 360/PS3...

It's quite funny to see that he's actually hit the limit on what the integer can hold in memory (or at least the limit of what the page can show)
Logically there's got to be some kind of hard limit on the maximum values that players can hold.

Is it even possible to even spend that much money on in-game items even if you bought every single vehicle, gun & upgraded business at full price for two new characters?

I thought I was doing quite well @ 36 million with Career Earnings of 136 million. Outgoings of 98.7 million.
Mostly from Casino Heists and passive business income. I only use the Nightclub Warehouse + Safe, Arcade safe and Bunker.

I can play the game however I like now and do whatever I want - and the nightclub will continue to generate a sale worth 1+ million over time.

I've completely avoided Warehouse Cargo as I wouldn't want to do over 2700 sale missions and god knows how many sourcing missions.

I find the Nightclub promo missions and Bunker sales tedious enough.

-- EDIT --

Correct me if I'm wrong but it's:

111 crates - 3 crates per sourcing mission = 37 missions for 1 sale = 2700 sales x 37 = 99,900 sourcing missions?

Doesn't have to be full large WH, some of the sales could be one crates sales for RP.

It seems like this only happened to my first warehouse sale, as all the others I got 4.4M for the correct amount. I did open a ticket about this issue, and just a few hours ago got a response & got refunded the money I didn’t get from the sale.

My cash is all legit anyway, I earned it from grinding crates & businesses. Plus I attached them images in the ticket & got refunded once I got a reply.

No worries, I meant no offence but good to see you got reimbursed from R*.

I just don't trust R* regarding what they see/do as much as I'd like to is all. :)

With this amount of legit cash ban my actually improve your life. If you're on PC, double payments are often getting bodied but you should know that. No doors to knock apart from support. Seriously asking, why do you grind?

Correct, it's 9 quintillion - $9,223,372,036,854,775,807.

That's 9 quintillion,

223 quadrillion,

372 trillion,

36 billion,

854 million,

775,807.

Oofers.

Looking at my own stats, I have spent 1.1 billion in six-and-a-half years and own absolutely everything bar a few odds and ends. I have surplus disposable income flowing out of my ears; so what on earth is this guy going to spend 2.7 billion on? Talk about GTA online being a second job for people who don't actually have a job. And to post on this forum about it and even get in touch with Rockstar technical support?

Hey @Christopher69B, you need to take a break from this game, man. I know you live for the grind, which can be a fun part of the game, but this is bonkers addiction. You will never need or spend this much in-game cash.

I normally don’t play this game that much during weekdays as I’m busy doing other real life things, but with this recent lockdown, I’ve been playing a little more. Normally I will only play around 6-8 hours a day if it wasn’t for a lockdown. As during the week I don’t get much time to play.

@Christopher69BCan you please answer me because I have never seen anything like that (numbers). Do you do anything else than crates in the game and how don't you get bored? Do you have everything in the game? No hate, I'm a grinder too and I'm really impressed.

I do other businesses such as coke, meth, bunker and nightclub, I allow them to fill up in the background. And I rarely get bored when I’m playing with friends.

Honestly, if you're having fun then keep on doing what you're doing and don't let anyone tell you different, but if you get bored then please stop as no video game is worth swapping your life for, not even GTA online and incredible payouts, especially as it's money YOU can never spend.

Well I’m always playing with friends & crew and I rarely get bored anyway. And I tend to enjoy GTA more when we get some good double money events, Plus I know I wouldn’t ever be able to spend this amount of money, but one day I may create a 2nd character as I only have 1 character at the moment.

Honestly people underestimate how fast large warehouses fill up with the Tbyte and the Mk2. With those two tools crates got a major buff.

I have 4 large warehouses (all of them close together) and I just park the Terrobyte between them. I filled all 4 of them up yesterday. Sold them (along with the rare cargo) today and made over 18 million dollars. Took about 16 hours and some luck with the missions.

Yes it was a grind and I don't recommend doing it often but still, that's over 18 million  sourced and sold in one day.

The issue with grind in GTA is that beyond certain limit it is absolutely pointless. And the process of doing it could be put elsewhere. By the way, 6-8 hours is a good workday, so playing only 6-8 hours per day is crazy amount of time. You can learn a lot of new things in this time, not waste your life on this 7 years old mess.

I can't speak for OP but most people who work a full time job don't have the energy to also learn new things in their spare time. And even if someone spent that time, say, learning to play guitar that isn't necessarily less "pointless" than playing video games. Unless GTA is keeping one from, for example, volunteering in a soup kitchen, then I don't see the need to judge.

Trust me, I'm not judging anybody. 1 hour per day every day will boost your foreign language knowledge from 0 to A2 in a year, often even higher, if you're not learning Chinese/ Japanese/ Korean or more difficult languages. Playing guitar, IMO, is much less pointless, because this skill will boost your confidence, hand motility, hearing and general music knowledge. It could be your gateway instrument to more music stuff, which is absolutely awesome. Video games are not bad per se, grinding video games is bad. Because there are other things to grind and they could be monetized or provide any lasting consequences.

As soon as I have stopped GTA grind my backlog of movies have cleared a lot, I've started recovering my German from the abyss it fell after the high school years, discovered a lot about shooting DSLR on manual and composing better shots. The thing is, in my case there was nothing in the game apart from the grind. Nothing. I've tried to play it casually and ended up removing the thing completely from the drive. Still playing Dirt rally 2 and WRC 8 almsot daily though.

One could also argue spending your time on a message board of a game you don't play (and putting down those who play it) is questionable in it's own right.

Especially when you could be figuring a way on the moon or inventing your own kind of pie in the meantime. Just a thought.

Well, you just judged how OP spends his spare time again. But what's telling is that all the alternative activities you mentioned are individualistic endeavors.

Why is it that online gaming has proven to be more profitable? I argue that the individualism demanded by our society is exactly the reason why so many people seek social interaction through video gaming. Individualism leads to isolation. If your job required you to leave your family and childhood friends behind, then it's very easy to connect with them after work in a video game. In my opinion, the gaming is just a vessel. Why aren't people more happy right now under quarantine despite having all this time to pursue individualistic activities? Instead, the media is filled with advice on how to not go insane. Humans are social animals. If you had listed group activities, I would have readily agreed. Yes, those will likely make a person happier than grinding a video game alone. But what if the grind is the group activity? It all depends on the person's circumstances; that's why I don't tell anyone to stop playing video games and volunteer to plant trees instead. I don't assume to know what a stranger's life is like.

The activities you mentioned are more highly regarded by society than video gaming, so there's that benefit I guess. But fundamentally I don't see how they are any less pointless, because they do little to alleviate the alienation caused by that same society. Crocheting, for example, at least helps release stress because it doesn't demand more mental energy at the end of a work day.
