Laser gun worth buying?

Is the laser gun worth buying? I can see 2 types and wonder if they're worth buying? I have a weapons workshop so not sure if this adds any value?

Is there a way to call for one of my vehicles without having to run a mile from the current vehicle and the call the mechanic?

Thanks

Register as MC president and return current vehicle to storage. Call mechanic for new one.

Halal Cyborg

The unholy hellbringer is handy as it has no reload and can pin aimbot enemies on the ground...useful in DDH.

The Up an atomiser is a unique breaching tool and can also save sales as it can move vehicles without destroying them if stuck.

The widowmaker pretty much reskinned minigun.

  • Up-n-Atomizer: Useful and fun. A must-have IMO.
  • Unholy Hellbringer: Only useful aspect is no need to reload. But the Combat MG Mk II can fire 200 rounds before reloading and is more accurate. It's a pretty rare situation that you have to fire 200 rounds without being able to reload.
  • Widowmaker: Only buy it if you haven't and aren't close to unlocking the minigun. It's the same weapon except it shoots laser beams that give away your position.

As for calling vehicles, apart from the MC menu you can also call an aircraft from your hangar and that will de-spawn your current vehicle unless you already have a personal aircraft on the map, or a special vehicle from the I/E garage, or a NC delivery vehicle.

Pretty much what SummerFreeze says.

The up n atomizer definitely a must.

Apart from the fun and a weapon that has unlimited ammo, it comes in handy if you crash your vehicle, get it stuck somewhere.

If you run somewhere, fences in your way, the up and atomizer blows away your obstacles. This is priceless

1. register as MC President and return your vehicle to storage.

2. call in a personal aircraft. That despawns your current vehicle, and the aircraft usually spawns far enough away that you can request a car from mechanic

3. destroy your vehicle

Damn, I forgot they call the Up and Atomizer a Laser gun.

That one is very fun to screw around with, especially when friends are involved. I almost enjoy it as much as parking the Vigilante against a wall and blasting NPC vehicles away with the rocket boost.

the up and atomizer is a must purchase, as junkpile said it comes in real handy when you crash a vehicle and get it stuck in a tough place.

one or two blasts from the up and atomizer and your vehicle is usually free.

i use it when i do a mc business sale and if i get the vehicle i need to use stuck.

Up N Atomizer isn't really a laser gun, it more so fires pulse waves.    Still a good gun.   Has infinite ammo, no reload, and the recharge rate isn't to slow.    Will kill a player in 2 or 3 shots and is a little cheap as it throws people into the air.    By the time they fall and get back up your next shot is already ready.       It technically can knock people off the Oppressor MKII without destroying the bike but the projectiles it fires are slow and you'll need to be quite a good shot to pull it off.

Widowmaker is a reskinned minigun.    If your not level 120 and want a minigun type weapon, the Widowmaker is open from rank 1.

Unholy Hellbringer is basically a reskinned Combat MG, which is worse and less accurate in many ways as it don't have MKII upgrades like grips, etc that improve stability and accuracy.     It does have the benefit of having a infinite clip.    But the Combat MG still has 200 rounds per clip and when counting all the extra upgrades, your better off with that.

So overall.

- Atomizer = Recommend.

- Widowmaker = Recommend if you don't have access to a minigun.

- Hellbringer = Don't really recommend when Combat MG is overall better in most ways.

would you care to elaborate? What do you think it is? Stats are pretty much the same as a combat MG without any upgrades, and it shoots the same too, except no reloading and different sound/projectile.

Well actually it is. It's a combat MG without reloading.

It's good in narrow spaces for blind fire or if you have a bottle neck position in a survival with a bunch of enemies coming your way.

The no reload is the only pro.

It's like the combat mg reskinned, and if you ask me, even more inaccurate

Except it's not.   Like others have said the Hellbringer has stats that are the same as the Combat MG.    Difference is the Hellbringer doesn't have upgrades while the Combat MG does.    All the Hellbringer has is infinite clip.    Combat MG beats it in all other ways due to it's upgrades.

GAUNTLET HELLFIRE

I had the fire bullets (forgot their actual name) for my Combat MG and when playing contact missions for hours I would always run out of ammo and I found the Hellbringer to be a decent alternative when my MG was out of ammo. I have since changed my Combat MG ammo back to normal so I never run out anymore.

Oh I gotta correct meself.

I am not talking about the combat mg which looks like an m60 and is upgradeable.

I talk about the mg which is inferior, whatsisname I don't know.

The one that has 75 rounds, 100 rounds upgraded.

This is the laser mg reskinned.

All these f*cking names..

MG

I'd have to check but I'm pretty sure the Unholy Hellbringer is the Combat MG without upgrades.

The stats are wrong. The hellbringer is less accurate than the MG or combat MG, you can lookup videos where they compare shot groupings.

With upgrades, the Combat MG is more accurate, without upgrades, they are the same.

Even more so for the Combat MG Mk II, which also does more damage.

It's a gusenburg reskin, animations give it away.

Reskin of the gusenburg, correct animations. Combat MG has completely different animations, stats are irrelevant.

According to the game files, it's a Combat MG without upgrades.

I tested fire rates myself and the Combat MG and Hellbringer have nearly the same one. The Gusenberg fires faster.

Wow okay. I assumed it was the MG which has 54 bullets in the Mag, not upgraded.

It surely performs as lousy imo XD.

However, I prefer an upgraded or mk2 combat mg over the hellbringer.

Some ppl mention Giveaway position which also falls into the equation.

If you in an air vehicle and ppl with laser guns go at you, they're pretty much f*cked.

PVE is another thing.

The no reloading can come in handy when Lemmings run into you one at a time.

The Combat MG Mk II has several advantages over the Hellbringer:

- higher damage

- lower damage falloff at range (heavy barrel upgrade)

- less bullet spread (grip upgrade)

- less vertical recoil (muzzle brake upgrade; doesn't apply in 1st person)

- bigger zoom (scope upgrade; especially in 1st person with the large scope)

Grip and scope upgrades are available to the Combat MG as well.

The Hellbringer only has the advantage of not requiring reload, but even if 200 rounds aren't enough, it's possible to reload very quickly by swapping weapons back and forth. The lack of a level requirement isn't really an advantage either, because the Combat MG can be purchased through a weapon workshop at any level.

I'm on PC so the Special Carbine Mk II is my automatic weapon of choice either way.

Oh really?

I for mine found them regular rifles to be kinda obsolete.

This was my allround weapon, not shooting outta cars but on ground, this was my go to weapon.

Now I mostly use shotguns in close combat, sniper rifle in mid and wide range.

I also don't use mk2 ammo, there are only 3 weapons I'd use alternate ammo with:

Revolver with incinedary rounds

Shotgun with explosive shells

Sniper with explosive shells.

Now back on topic, another reason why I don't use regular Rifles anymore is the combat mg.

If I have a lil army coming my way, the combat mg is reliable in all regards

I don't do much PvP so that probably explains it. For PvE I find it a lot easier get headshots with the Special Carbine Mk II than the Combat MG Mk II.

Okay. Yeah I find myself having rifles as a back up weapon meaning, dropping them to the prisoner in the heist Finale or in survivals.

I sometimes, rather seldom, use the mk2 mp or rifles during survivals.

But they became kinda obsolete to me personally.

F. E. in survivals I go all out with a combat MG. For precise one shot kills I use the marksman mk2 with Hilo target lock sights.

My new favorite gun.

And shotguns for close combat.

There are fancy shotguns but the small for free sawed off shotty is priceless.

One shot kills at close range

The Marksman rifle with a normal scope is fun, but I can still get headshots quicker with short bursts from an automatic rifle.

The Sawed-Off Shotgun is underrated: It has the highest number of pellets per shot along with the Pump Shotgun, but deals the highest amount of damage per pellet among all shotguns.... basically like firing 8 MG rounds at once. It also has the largest spread so even with a near miss at short range, there's still a good chance an enemy gets hit in the head with one pellet for an instant kill.

I love doing the casino heist aggressive approach with the Sawed-Off Shotgun.
