atazs
Would this be possible? Given that the devs have moved on with their lives, and won't be updating. This is sad because DYOM is in desperate need of updating, and this would allow others to improve upon it and add more features/possibilities. What would be the best way of getting in contact with the devs and ask them about this? Could anyone here, who are more familiar with them do this? Edited May 1, 2020 by atazs M.B. MrMonster8Revived
PatrickW last visited the forums in March, and last posted anything in 2018 so, I think he is no longer that active in the GTA community, I have been back to this website just a few hours ago and didn't visit it much in the last few years so, correct me if I am wrong. Anyway, I agree with you, although I think I am not creative at all and therefore don't want to create missions or something but, I will be happy to see the DYOM community return to its state in the older days when it was much more active than now, the only thing I hope for is that if the project someday become open source, the development team will be organized to avoid long development period and short lists of features. Last thing I want to add, and I am sorry if this reply is becoming a wall of text, what do you think are some features that you want to see? May be making a list of which will make the enthusiasm for such project lar zakarum5835
atazs
If not open sourced, i at least want to see the ability for DYOM to interact with custom mods like Underground and access their files. But the biggest feature i want to see is the ability to place down mission markers in the world that you must travel to and access in normal gameplay to begin a mission, instead of selecting missions from a menu, with certain missions becoming available only once you completed previous ones. Hmmm... Pretty sure this is already a feature.
