SegaGloria
The Wii U, along with the Nintendo 3DS family systems and the PS Vita were the only game consoles that Rockstar did not support during its useful life. The Wii U's case is like this: After released GTA: Chinatown Wars for Nintendo DS/DSi in 2009, Rockstar already stated that they would no longer make games for Nintendo, because the company is not interested in Nintendo, as they do not make games for a childish and family audience. Also 3 years later, Rockstar would release 3 mature games Red Dead Redemption (2010), L.A. Noire (2011) and Max Payne 3 (2012), which cannot be ported to Nintendo consoles due to the demand that Manhunt 2 had on Wii, this third being the only one they released the same year the console was released, but it was not the same released on that system and they haven't even released GTA V on Wii U since 2013. Another possible reason is that these Rockstar games weigh more than 25 GB (the maximum size that a Wii U Optical Disc requires, another Nintendo error, apart from not having double-layer optical discs (50 GB), which some of these games would need graphic cutouts for the console to run), L.A Noire (weighs 29 GB) and GTA V (weighs 65 GB), even the sizes weighing Red Dead Redemption and Max Payne 3 are unknown. In addition, Rockstar updated its graphics engine (RAGE 2006 to RAGE 2014) in 2014 so that it was not compatible with x86 systems and was compatible with x64 systems. This update was not made by Rockstar before because 64-bits did not arrive on consoles until the PS4 and Xbox One's arrival, and were only on computers (Rockstar makes games for game consoles and games for PC). Epic Games made the same update with its graphics engine's lastest version, Unreal Engine 4. Edited May 1, 2020 by SegaGloria v3
