Algonquin Assassin Posted May 1, 2020 Share Posted May 1, 2020 I don't know about anyone else, but watching the in game tv is one of my favourite "chill out" activities to do in GTA IV. I love all the shows and advertisements, but my two favourites shows are "I'm Rich" and "A History Of Liberty City". I love I'm Rich as it feels like a perfect satire of those kind of reality tv shows and I've always found A History Of Liberty City both insanely hilarious and interesting that R* went to such lengths to give Liberty City its own comprehensive history. I think it goes over 3 or 4 episodes or something like that. Sometimes when I'm eating I'll fire up the tv even if it's just for a few minutes. I'm Rich is hilarious in a classic GTA humour type of way, and a History of Liberty City also very funny and well done. My favourite ad is the one for helicopter tours, when it shows the helicopter flying through the tunnel it cracks me up lol I remember when I first played IV the first thing I did after arriving in Roman's apartment was sit down and watch some TV. Niko was promised the world but finds himself sitting alone in a dingy apartment flicking through channels of static on a tiny ancient TV trying to find something to watch. The perfect start. That's Anthony Cumia, he was co-host of a New York radio show called the Opie and Anthony Show. Lazlow was a friend of the show and, like, EVERYONE connected with it (hosts, staff/interns, comedians and others who were frequent guests) did voices in GTA IV lol, and there's also numerous inside references to the show in the game. He also sang the Pisswasser song in GTA V and voiced the gunsmith in Armadillo in RDR1. He's one of the Italian gang member peds in IV as well.
