They make beautiful games there is no denying that, but the mechanics, ai and almost everything else always kinda feel poor and lacking. Pretty bad for him, not sure why it's a super huge deal to the point he has to step down from his job to be honest, he's drawn more attention to it by doing that than he would've otherwise. Jason Posted July 5, 2020 Share Posted July 5, 2020 Only watched the gameplay stuff to avoid story spoilers, obviously it's a bit early and there's definitely some glitchnyess there, and the person playing is God awful at the combat, but from what I saw I liked. The castle siege looked fun and knowing Odyssey's combat and what's possible there (cause again, the person playing is f*cking dreadful) I can see my self having a lot of fun with those battles. There's also a glimpse of the power tree that looks interesting, albeit a lot of the nodes seemed like straight up passive boosts to your HP / damage, which I imagine is how they're avoiding levels. Was it just my impression, or it's actually... slower? Looked less arcade-y compared to that travestity known as Odyssey. Dammit, the gameplay is taken down now, need to wait for a mirror or so.
