Even after passing every test of it with Gold, you'd still need to keep on driving properly for long distances in order to maximize your driving skill. And the way it increases is completely random. I noticed at times, by doing the same thing, sometimes it would increase, other times it wouldn't, but it generally increases if you drive for a long time. As you play, your driving skill will increase over time. I'm not too familiar with the ins and outs of how it increases and by how much because it's a question I've asked myself before, but generally you'll see it go up the more you drive at higher speeds with no collisions. I've gone entire playthroughs before where I've not even hit maximum before the final mission, and then on others I've hit it way before. If you want a fun experience, play on a save where you've reached the maximum level for a while and then start a new game. The difference is so gradual but it's there. Rhoda Posted May 3, 2020 Share Posted May 3, 2020 Your stats won't change upon dying. Driving skill (and other vehicle skills) don't decrease like the fat and muscle ones do.
