As expected these people are not that fun on PC.

Only encountered them driving armored cars or flying around in a jet (some of them in godmode) shooting up the lobbys.

Tryed to do a little roleplay as an MIB agent, dressed in suit and glasses with an Emperor as a "Ford P.O.S."

Sadly the only responses I got (appart from getting shot up by a menacers minigun) were getting blown up by glitched multiple shot RPGs, explosive rifles, a chrome godmode hydra (whos user at first claimed that he did not use godmode and when I responded that I saw him fly straight into a building called me an unskilled noob) or having a campfire spawned inside me along with the usuall "1-0 getrek nub" in the chat.

Combine that with the usuall tryhard sitting in a wallbreach claming to "rek people 30-0" after killing them once (also dressed up like an alien) and you got a combination that will make you puke your stomach out.

Had to deal with some Purple dweebs last night. Total idiots. One Tells me he "destroyed" me 13v11 during his stand your ground. His buddy left during the middle of it. I could have taken the ground if it werent for several other random outsiders shooting me in the back. I got mad after 10 minutes and Tanked the whole area of these jack rabbits. 

 

I never killed the MC president with the tank..only the random attackers shooting me. He texts me "Imagine using a tank" and he proceeds to blow me up with a mk2... Pathetic. Bum had glitched a thermal helmet onto his Purple skinsuit..

 

GTA has no variety and is unbelievably predictable

Purple. As a Tottenham fan, it's the closest colour to my team, lol. Silly things and all that.

 

As for the language thing, I don't get the nitpicking myself, but for sure I've had enough digs too. Seems silly to me. If folk can understand it well enough, who cares. Ain't like we're here to get a degree in languages. It's just forum fun. ✌

I've killed a great many aliens this week using every dirty trick at the games disposal. I always waited for them to attack me first, so dont hate. I've cleared at least 8 lobbies of the alien menace. It has been a blast

It's ironic, they are quite happy to drive around killing random players going about their business but when you blow them and their sh*tty van up from above they all "register as MC President" and out come the OPMk2s.

This is GTA- there are no rules, trust no one. From what I've observed standard practice is to use only fists or melee weapons. If things escalate then the Up-N-Atomizer is acceptable- it isn't always lethal but it is always funny. Lazer weapons come out only if the brawl breaks into a blitzkrieg. When you die just run right back into the battle. It's a great way to dial back your K/D ratio. I taunt opposing players with text messages: Purple aliens have stupid rulers.

I played this afternoon on PS4 and went team Purple since so much of the stuff I saw was way more green.  It was pretty fun and most of the Greens were playing fair - I had a 30 minute duel with a guy on the golf course and then we chased each other around in carts.  Unfortunately, there were even more oppressors flying around than I have seen in quite a while, just flying around and blowing up everyone...

 

I really wish there were lobby options to exclude anything that flies with missiles.  Or at least to disable auto lock missiles or something.  Those twats really ruin this game.

It really is a lot of fun to see something new that is purely grassroots and natural take off, and then for Rockstar to lean into it with this week's specials actually shows they at least occasionally are listening and trying to have a little bit of fun with the community [needs to be said that I also hate alien/futuristic sh*t in this game EXCEPT for this].  This is really fun--and a totally new way to just mess around and have fun in freeroam.  The free $500K that Rockstar will punt out also pays for the Up n Atomizer and the alien costume, so it's a zero dollar-out purchase at the end of the day to join in the fun.

I got chased by a van load of purples earlier. I lured them onto the freeway past the Vinewood Bowl, and got out of my car. As they got out with their bats and sticks I “Up and Atomised” them, one flying directly into the path of an oncoming truck for instant death. I was howling laughing. The game is nuts at the minute. ha ha ha
