I think that it's a funny trend. Good to see players making their own fun and being an active part in something. It will blow over, but enjoy it whilst it lasts.

My only experience with them was me screwing around and hitting a car with a crowbar, then all of a sudden, I heard a Xmas horn from a purple limo. as soon as it ended, 3 Aliens left the kimo and chased me with melee weapons.

They are not as bad as modder's for the game,

and tbh people can play the game how they like its not the way I like to play but each to there own I guess. And at least you can see them coming.

My concern is that if they are of younger age what are they doing with access to the game in the first place? or games like COD tbh.

As a kid yeah I used to play games that were concidered adult and watched films like The Terminator but this was the 1980's! for example a game called Barbarian was a Fighting game pre mortal kombat where you could decapitate to finish of the match, this did have minor cotraversy at the time. But the graphics were crap it had a fantasy setting etc so a different situation to the almost squint and they are photo real scenes of modern games. And if The Terminator was classified now I think it would be a PG13 rating.

The squeeking dosnt bother I used typed chat on PC instaed of a mic.

I finally encountered this trend in a lobby yesterday...they were all in game chat...in their 9 year old voices shrill and obnoxious saying what they were doing to each other...chat in a party you twerps!

 

I was so tempted to break my passivity and attack them just to hear them cry  

 

I didn’t though I switched session after their aids voices gave me a headache...I sold my full bunker using Ghost Organization while they were there being all “crazy”

As you and many know, I'm not the biggest fan of public lobbies in GTA:O, but as I went upstairs to sort some stuff, I heard my lil' man clearly enjoying a game loudly with his mates, had to pop in and see what got him so stoked.

 

Yep, he was stuck in on this trend too, lol. I ended up watching them for a while and couldn't help but enjoy the fun in it all really, I ended up watching him and joining in a few times myself with them for a couple of hours old-skool style as we took turns on the controller while digging each other out for mishaps and spankings, lol.

 

Silly stuff but can't help but laugh at how yet again, GTA shows it has something magic about it really.

 

(Naturally, no product/supplies were harmed, and if asked to piss off, we did, lol. It's not for me long term, but an hour or two just to see what the fuss was about was a good giggle).

This is likely to come and go quicker than the coronavirus, but it's currently the thing amongst the "Tik Tok" 9 - 15 year old demographic. Same with my youngster. I came home from work today and I could hear him upstairs in his room, about five of his school pals on, all dressed in purple. They were having a great time.  This is what gaming is about, right?

 

I like it, for as long as it lasts it is just a bit of fun. The usual Victor Meldrews will moan about it of course, but seeing as the kids are stuck at home, and in GTA you can't destroy cargo, can't steal vehicles and can't interrupt the freemode jobs, I guess this is one way that they can harmlessly let off steam for a bit.

Much like the 6 week holiday, usually by the end of it, the kids are bored with being at home or just with their group and need to get back into the playground and mingle/be free of us parents, lol.

 

When things like this are just in the spirit of fun and games, absolutely that's what gaming is. I'd dread to think what I'd have been like in a game like this as a nipper too, lol. Blimey!

 

Just a shame the game is convoluted and a bit unbalanced in areas that see the fireworks fly, but luckily there are ways to make it our own more if we want the peace. Definitely what makes this game better for me than R*'s other one.

i disagree. I’d rather have 6 people ruin my fun using fists instead of 1 guy using a mod menu.

I discovered this yesterday, in one lobby the alien kids were running around the beach killing each other with the laser weapons, some were running people over with vehicles. They were pretty harmless though.

 

In another lobby they were in jets and oppressors killing anybody. I must admit the green alien costume looks pretty cool in a black jet. I fought them in my jet and had a pretty good time.

English is my 2nd language. And haha funny your kinda being a racist right now. Considering the fact I'm not from usa nor lived there so ofc my english isn't up there.  Now you go back to school and learn manners.
