V3ryH1GH
Sup ya'll I have a super easy task of reskinning the Spraycan - which I have. I've exported the .DFF using DragonFF by Parik , I've extracted TXD file using MAGIC TXD, replaced and rebuilt the archive using IMAGE Tool 2. There were issues with one of the textures how showing up when I viewed the .DFF file in DFF Viewer which I was able to fix by making texture images .TGA extensions. However after all of that , I load the game up and load the 3rd Mission where CJ has to Tag everything - The spray can still looks like the original one made for the game and doesn't apply my skin. Could anyone offer me some assistance?
In45do
There are some objects only applied in cutscene. These objects can be found in cutscene.img and the file you need to replace is csspray.txd. V3ryH1GH

Launched game and still has original texture in the cut-scene and normal game-play. Should I be using a different imaging tool?
In45do
Hmm... It should've work. Perhaps try to install it with modloader. Create a folder named "cutscene.img" (without quotation mark) inside the modloader folder and then just drop both DFF and TXD file into "cutscene.img" folder. This method also work for gta3.img Edited April 30, 2020 by In45do V3ryH1GH

I'm completely new to the world of GTA Modding but I'm getting super excited now! My next modding milestone is figuring out how to create a custom weapon. Reusing game assets just assigning different damage values essentially and spawning point(s). Would you happen to be able to point me in the right direction for pointers?
