Engieworld Posted April 29, 2020 Share Posted April 29, 2020 I've decided to return to Vice city after not playing it for about a year, and for some reason, as soon as i went to the ocean view beach, my game froze with a message saying that there's an error reading my PlayStation 2 disc, there's only like 1 or 2 small scratches, but my disc still won't work, even when i placed an small object (Book) on top of my Slim model, it's still won't work. hell, My Need for speed underground 2 disc has like 6 or 7 scratches yet, it's still running good.. does anyone also have this problem or know how to fix it? Earthbound Posted April 29, 2020 Share Posted April 29, 2020 In my experience old consoles sit around and get dirty, inside and out. I'd pull the cover off and clean the laser lens. Even though it's playing other games fine, I'd imagine this is probably still your issue. Use some isopropyl and a cotton swab. Jobs a good'n.
