End of the Line freezing (PS4)

Twice now I've reached the final part of the mission where Tenpenny crashes down into grove street. 

 

Then the game literally just freezes with a black screen. I recall this happening a lot on the OG PS2 version but wasnt expecting this again on the ps4 emulator. Any Suggestions? Does it have something to do with the final mission being so long and complex that the game simply has a meltdown?

 

Edit: really not sure why this helps, but I tried leaving Los Santos altogether to leave the riots for a few minutes, flew back and did the mission as normal and it worked.

This is apparently also a thing on the OG Xbox port as well. Experienced a Black screen right after the tenpenny falls to his death cutscene, where Groves approach him.

 

I believe this has something to do with data streaming or memory management. People on the internet recommend a lot of things like reinstalling, deleting and restoring saves (if that's possible), skipping the cutscenes, playing the mission as quickly as possible or like OP here suggested leaving Los Santos.

 

What I did was skip the starting cutscenes and play the game normally afterwards, that seemed to work for me, only experienced it once tho, even tho I've been playing it with mods.
