I made 3 versions for now, I can make banners for all the GTA's and for all the GTA 5 characters if needed.

I've put my watermark on it just to make sure, I'll send the ones without them to the moderators if they want it.

These pictures are downscaled, all of them are 1900x600.

I can make another banner with this style that is thinner with more pictures if needed.

Will there be only one header, or will they interchange like the current slogan under the logo does?

The headers will rotate yes.

The current header is so narrow but you requested a larger header of 600px. Does this mean that there'll be more space between the black bar (with the logo and search bar) and the threads area?

Yes an no, is just how the responsiveness of that theme works like, it will show more of the banner on lower res and less of the banner in higher res if that makes sense.

We'll be rotating the headers every so often, with the winner being our first and main header. :)

I have never been good enough at things like this sadly, but here's the possible idea for some of you who are tech savvy:

Two-toned or multi-tone, pencil sketch alike Architectural Theme - maybe one should be forums blue to highlight the correlation between the Net & Forums.

Good screenshots of prominent places and objects from GTA Universe, such as bridges, signs, billboards, railroads and buildings, or even simplified versions of city outlines made to look like they've been drawn. Simplistic in style, but with visible details. Something that's similar to cover & general art from 3D Era games - check out SA for the best example.

Like I've said, I absolutely have no idea how to work in Photoshop or similar applications so don't be to harsh, but this is the closest I could do on my own when it comes to the general idea. It's nowhere near as artsy as I would like it to be, but it's just for the sake of reference anyways:

Edit: Finally managed to get on the right track with the idea:

Whoever is artsy enough is more than free to "steal" the idea, but I will definitely try it out myself as well, now that I'm an expert in Photoshop - just a joke 😋

Question: I'm not talented enough to make a banner, but how are you guys looking at scaling the banner for monitor's with higher resolution displays? 1900x600 as a minimum is too low to be frank, and I'm personally not a fan of banners that are looped like the one we have currently. Is there a reason why you guys are opting for that resolution as a minimum?

Just so you have an idea of what I mean, if you look at the r/pcmasterrace subreddit banner as an example, that particular image has a width of 4320 and scales cleanly depending on the resolution of your monitor (I'm at 2560x1440p and the banner cuts out with the image of the three monitors with the red lighting).

This is just my opinion and all, but having a higher width image that scales properly depending on whether you are using a phone, or whatever resolution you are running at would look a lot more professional and pleasing to the eye. If you guys are taking the effort to make a new banner for the website, you might as well do it properly (not to discredit anyone's submissions or idea's).

I'm kind of surprised nobody has brought up this point earlier to be honest.

EDIT: I just realized that the contest is not even for the forum, but in saying that I think the forum could do with a new banner.
