Story

 

The game tells the story of Lance Urwell, a former bank robber.

His ol' friend Vinnie betray him and leaves him for dead during a bank robbery, leading to his desire for revenge.

Nope. Tiki Islands is finished. So, more lore-friendly Advance TC fall out of female voiceover, many years i'can't find well souding voice. So, after time, i've made new conception, takin Advance plot, put into 80s Vice City with minor change (Leone replaced by Vercetti, Rasta by Bikers, Yakudza by Cuban and etc).

So, many stuff for this TC i already done (from 2018 to present day i've maked buildings and other stuff)

Hmmm

- Tiki Island final build link is on 1st page of topic

- Russian Theft Auto is too (but waitin for propper translation)

- Wastelad is too (but still neeed tranlation)

 

So i've give all links, But anyway, progress so far

Nope. This is remake, but with diffrent place and diffrent characters.

I'm using origina Advancel plot, with minor changes. But plot of story is original. We still play as Mike, Vinnie still die. But....no Leone's mafia, now we workin on Vercetti, no 8-ball, now we have a friendship with one armed Phil, no yardie, now we workin on Mitch Baker and etc.

Some around 35-45 missions (original Advance around 40) 

About cars, i'll showin it's soon, as Vice Beach's done. But this is list of cars

 

- police cruiser (based on Malibu'82)

- premier (based on Malibu'82)

- taxi (based on Malibu'82)

- buffalo (camaro'67)

- bravura (i dunno know what's actual prototype is, but it's slioghty lookin like idaho)

- sentinel (fury' 69)

- infernus ( countach'76)

- esperant (GTO'65)

- sabre (chardger' 69)

- petro (slighty looks like Duneride)

- rdtrain (Peterbilt)

- cadrona (Belair'55)

- tampa (nova)

- windsor (thunderbird)

 

Yeah, they not 100% scratch made of course, i've used some parts from other non R*Games' games ( many of them from Ride to Hell), but anyway, i've change them for more GTA-lore looks like, so 70% percent conversion, 30% scratch made.

There some vehicles, which gonna be used in this mod. Shots taken not from actual mod. Also lisence plate'll change o VC.

Infernus, yeah, i've used real; life 3d model, and change it to more GTA'sh style (look closely at talling lights)

Honestly a lot of your mods seem to run together (mipmapping issues, car or character models that look really out of place with the 3D era sh*t, either some wasteland or 80s aesthetic) so this really doesn't seem like anything new. Hopefully I'm proven wrong, though, but still this just seems like an unnecessary sequel that's piggybacking off GTA Advance

Man, i don't use any 3d era models with new HD-one. Also all props models is totally replaced by HD-one. All characters, weapons and more are changed too. Yeah, first builds, don't change all stuff to HD. By the way, show me on those screens any 3d-era stuff? Or download latest Wasteland or Russian Theft Auto and try to find any 3d-era stuff. You gonna be fail. Also, when i'm wokin on my mods, i've making one style - later 00s game style design, maybe a little bit higher quality than GTAIV.

Why Tiki Islands become to VC'89 with new story based on Advance? So, at way, after 2018 closed realese, wich i realese as final in 2020, i've did many new models, many of them is HD-reacreation of VC's one (Ocean View, Posleposyion and etc.).After all, in 2019, voice actor, who voiced protogonist is came out from all social net, so i can't pm him bout new voiceover work (actually i have longest story, then i've realesed). Now, i have newest voiceacting team, and many players askin me bout GTA Advance, so i takin Advance as base for new story in Vice City.

Sorry my dude, for whatever reason I was thinking of this mod's mipmapping issues. I meant to say overbearing ENB and weird glowing, especially in that Tiki Islands video

Nope. This wrong setting for SkyGFX (bloom are from Stories), enb are used only for gamma and water. Other stuff is off. If somebody make plugin, which can replace water into something looks like MTA Shader's water, i'll drop out enb .

Will that also make it get rid of the weird heat haze effect too?

Heat haze is original value. ENB, without specfic shader, doesn't change it.

You're try to harsh me? Hey, many, if not all, cars which maden in 3d-era style, looks like modpack for gta 3 since 2003-4, and so now?

Really, you guys, looks like little kids, who dress up their father pants, hate all skinny jeans and call it as adult being.

 

Vehicles maden by me. It's mod for SA.

Also how many vehicles from 2008 modpack you can show me, with proper dirtmap and dirty wheels? How many vehicles you can show me from 2008 modpack, which made diffrents looks frim their real life prototype? Show me it, please, really i wanna see it.

This is badly done GTA-styled mod, look for examples here:

I'm just saying that your vehicles look as if they had more polys than original map, and 4k textures, it doesn't work in such old game - engine is not adapted and optimized to handle such hq models, they make game laggy no matter one's pc specs and doesn't look too good.

Nope, vehicles have 20-25k polys, when building have 7-15k polys, and game don't lagged. If you wanna test it, play my Tiki Islands or Russian Theft Auto. They used HD models for all, and it don't lagged or bagged.

tell me bout? Really zero fps, right? Who said you guys this bullsh*t bout old games? I've make mods for various games since 2007 and really, i know how make it right.

Yeah, when you're used 100k polys for every vehicles, it can be badly, not for old games too. For example - Forza used multiple lods system for optimization. But, how worst'be you computers, every lod games, which was maden after 00s, workin fine with mid polys.

If we talkin bout SA, only one real thing wich can be - how any objects you used at one frame.  Otherwise, midpolys - 25-40k polys for vehicles, 15-30k polys for characters and 10-100k polys for buildings workin fine. Yeah, it's doesnt mean, don't economy polys, not, but also it doesnt mean scary off bout many polys too. I hope, you understand my bad english.
