Yeah that's what i'm thinking, remaking the 3D trilogy certainly wouldn't be easy (proper remakes, like the recent Mafia 1 Remake), but it would make an absurd amount of money if it would be done right.

3D Trilogy remake/remaster would be glorious. Unfortunately, it'd mean the original San Andreas on the Xbox would never even be launched once by me. Still not done so despite buying it in the Easter sale. Too busy (being furious) with GTA IV.

Just seems like something that would end up more trouble than it's worth. How many resources would they have to dedicate to it, to get it done? How much would it all cost? Would it make its money back? Why not use all that for a new game instead?

I know most here would buy it. Shocking that fans on GTAForums would buy GTA games, right? But your average gamer? I don't know if Rockstar or TT would see it as a worthy endeavour. 

 

Just seems to me that it's the dream outcome. But not the reality outcome. But I'd like to be wrong.

i would say its 65 percent done,definitely 2023 relase date.

I personally agree. But IF they did remaster or remake them, I'd still have the originals to play. But yes, I agree. I'd much rather they just make them available on all platforms. I have them on PS4, but they deserve to be on Xbox, too.

so all these will get rereleases before GTA VI.

I think the whole rockstar team is working now on GTA VI, now they bought Ruffian games which remastered few games in the past. There are some sections like one is working on GTA VI, another one is working on RDR 2 and the new one (Rockstar Dundee) started to remaster old games likes the trilogy. I don´t think that the "01 02 04 2013 B4 6" code means that the games that were released in these years will get a remaster. GTA San Andreas already got a "remaster" = GTA V. GTA III will definitely get a remaster, but not before GTA VI. And thats maybe the point. GTA San Andreas = GTA V ---- GTA Vice City = GTA VI. GTA IV is too young for a remaster, in my opinion.

It should go without saying. But everything that has been posted in the past few years, in terms of screenshots, gameplay, assets, etc are all fake. The map just cannot be proven to be fake, yet.

Not to mention multiple employee CV's that have referenced working on GTA 6 over the past couple of years. Most real leaks are quite dull and boring. That's why fakes and hoaxers make them exciting. It gets more attention, and gets kids excited. Bait

See I immediately think this, then I realise we are talking about Take Two Interactive lead by the prolific Strauss lord of “recurring consumer spending”. Nothing will surprise me anymore.
