You know, being German myself, I always found the name of this fictional company to be insanely funny. Also, I (and probably many other german speaking GTA fans) never realized why Gruppe Sechs was so funny until I pronounced it with an English accent. Gruppe Sechs translated into English would just be "Group Six" (which imho sounds more like the thing than the company name). Ubermacht (superiority) and Hinterland (Outback/Back Country) are honorable mentions. Oh and driving around in Vice City and singing along to "99 Luftballons" has to be one of the funniest memories of my childhood... Can't wait for Rockstars next innuendo to the german language (maybe in GTA VI)

Yeah, it's the same with Grand Theft Auto IV and Eastern Europeans in that game. I love that they implemented Poles, Russians, Ukrainians, and others in that game. Whenever I drive in Broker and hear Polish "Co to kurwa jest?" or "Uważaj!" gives me some weird joy. You can also hear Germans in Algonquin - "Entschuldigung?", and so on.

 

That's something you don't see in games like that. Also, it's nice to hear foreign languages other than Spanish in the game.

There's a guy in Liberty City, who, if you push him will say "Don't get frech with me, Junge" . Cracked me up when I first heard that mix of both languages. We actually call it "Denglish" here in Germany  I can't really translate the word "frech" for you. Maybe something like disrespectful... But it's usually kids that can be "frech". It can also be a positive thing, for example if your partner is frech. Then it's probably "playful". I think the brits have a word for that as well. "Cheeky", i believe

You'll probably have more than just Dundee working on online and a RDR2 port. If I remember correctly, Dundee is a fairly small team (about 40-60 people) in comparison to Rockstars other studios under their belt. Even still, Rockstar has all of their studios working in conjunction now whenever they make a new game. So while I think Dundees primary focus will be on Online, they're gonna be forced to allocate some time and resources into whatever their next game is.

Polish doesn't sound too natural, but it could be because most Poles who live in the United States change their accent, sometimes heavily.

Usually(, and it happens A LOT) americans are hired to play a foreigner, which is just the worst thing any studio could do! I'd go as far as to say that it's cultural appropriation in a way. Weird in many ways.

 

Edit: don't bring up Michael Hollick. He had training to nail that accent. And even then, during the whole game everyone managed to spell his name as "Bellik" instead of "Bellitsh"

Again, props to Rockstar for taking extra care Though, I heard they messed up portugese big time in Max Payne 3, which is a shame, since it plays a significant role in the game. Can't confirm though, don't speak it. 

If you speak spanish, you'll notice how everyone in Breaking Bad absolutely butchers the language... Ruined most Gus scenes for me.

Max Payne 4, Red Dead Redemption 3 and Gta VI, They all coming on 2021 and on same year.(it's not gonna happen) Rockstar ain't stupid as we think lol.
