I think they dont have all that urge. They can talk to their coworkers about the game and so on. There is no reason at all to them to leak the game or something.

I can't imagine that, Rockstar employed their own Secret Service-esque guys to stay in employee's closets to ensure that conversations about texurizing horse testicles didn't come across the family dinner table over a meal of slightly overdone pot roast

Oh god imagine they make a parody website of GTAForums in GTA VI as they did with Twitter, Facebook and other websites. I would love to see that, and the fake leakers parodies, for them this is a gold mine of fake leakers, sometimes crappy fake blurry "leaks", people arguing about how a game is developed but not being developers and also an unique scottish preacher

Worked on serval games, signed NDAs and find it worthless to leak anything. (Not Rockstar) Don't see the point when you still have to wait for the release anyways. It's like offering someone a 1,000 dollars but sending them pictures of the money instead. 

Also, I'm sure out of all the leaks we got something was either legit or close.

RDR2 was their only game where the map leaked. This one is still unconfirmed.

It's not confirmed that map leak is real, and it won't be for a long time until the trailer releases. It could be, but that's it.

Hey all! I completely understand that you guys will have no reason to believe this, feel free to call me names if you want.

 

Anyway I work with a guy who was at R* until last year. I don’t really know him so haven’t had the chance to bother him much, but after pestering him for a bit a few months back he told me that the working title for the next game is GTA: Americas. I thought the plural was a bit weird but that’s all I got out of him.

 

I figured that wasn’t worth posting alone, and I really don’t want to get yelled at or anything, but that weird map leak reminded me of it because it seems to include multiple islands, which could mean cities in both North and South America, hence Americas. 
 

Obviously I’ve got zero proof, I totally understand if you don’t believe me obviously. Hopefully I won’t get banned for saying this without evidence, and he could absolutely have been lying to me anyway just to shut me up, but I thought it was interesting.

It looks like it's from Rockstar. The only place where a mural like that with the old Rockstar kilt logo would be found and it seems like @Bliss took that photo because I've looked up and down the internet and haven't been able to find it. @Bliss could probably be former Rockstar artist Stephen Bliss.

Guys, the map image was discredited a long time ago, it was currylav who made that image.

the difference is that someone has rescued it and I edit it in satellite mode.
That is why I am so sure it is false.
