This can also spinoff into tons of discussion regarding it. I was tempted to start a GTA VI Map thread similar to the RDR II one based on the findings I'll be publishing in the next few hours as it is going to be a long post, but I will only do that if there's enough support for it. We still can't confirm its legitimacy yet, though, and at the moment, the leaked map is close to all we have to speculate on in the GTA 6 Speculation & Discussion thread. So I'll post my findings here. Hoping to have it finished by the end of the day, if not sometime this week.

That RDR II map absolutely blew away my belief that nothing that damning could come out from within Rockstar Games, and rather open my eyes to "what's real amongst the concentration of leaks?" I'm hoping we get to do that again with the GTA VI map when a trailer does come out.

Hopefully I'd be wise enough to do these kinda stuff for GTA VII atleast.

hmmm.. there is indeed a possibility that the map images could somehow show us the gta 6 map or atleast parts of it

but there is also a (very high) possibility that this is just another fan made thing and has nothing to do with the next gta

 

guess only time will tell us the real thing

 

(and btw, everyone is like "oh gta 6 has to be / will be set in vice city, probably in th 80s again", but there are no real prooves, what if gta6 ends up in las venturas?)

wasn't all this currylav map leaking a year ago or 2 years ago? I remember him saying that he took a pic when his friend went to take a sh*t or something like that

Yeah, I'll be putting it all in this thread. Figure it'll give all of us something to speculate on until the next big thing. So far so good in what I've got, hoping to have a write up finished in the coming hours.

The original map was posted online somewhat anonymously, in December 2018. CurryLav just hijacked it later in 2019.

Why would they make gta 6 in 1985 when vice city was in 86? That’s way to close and the similarities would be noticeable. I don’t think that map is legit

I made a quick updated version of the "map leak"

 

So this is what we have so far, personally not so much of a fan of this design. I wish there was more to the Miami island, rather than making the same mistake that GTA V brought with the city being the only real focus point of the map. However, if this small island on the south west has been updated, hopefully the rest also has changed for the better.

If real, which I do doubt, it could possibly imply multiple time periods, with this being the 1985 version?

I'm a bit late to this, why are suddenly discussing this again? And why are we giving it more credibility? Anyone kind enough to explain?
